My FReeper friends, I'm here on the other side of the earth praying and hoping the American people will grab hold of common sense and elect John McCain and Sarah Palin tomorrow.
There's little else I can do. I can't vote. If you can, PLEASE do so.
PLEASE get out and vote.
I'm terrified of what will follow if you don't...
I have voted, Aussie. Now, pray.....
Thank you for your prayers. Please keep praying. We need a miracle.
Sure will, FRiend. Thanks for your support.
Aussie you have been a dear Freeper friend here. We will do our best!! And yes, we will vote.
Judging from your Australian newspapers who are so in love with Obama...don’t worry, once McCain wins, we’ll send him to Australia where Mr. Downer can drool all over him.
I’ll be at the poll 7 am Tuesday. But I don’t know what else I can do at this point.
Ditto what gidget7 said...
I want you to know that when I pray for this election I really do feel as if people all over the world are praying, crying out to God for mercy and help.
It’s great to know of one in particular.
Voted early, and yes it was for the Maverick/cuda!
We won’t let you down, mate!
FWIW here in the “Inland Empire” in So. California all we see are McCain/Palin signs in yards, on fences.
We already voted, so now it’s pray we win.
Thanks for your support.
And BTW....you spelled "favor" wrong.
(Only kidding!)
DH and I mailed our ballots on Friday.
Hope that helps alleviate your angst! :)
You have done all you could. Let's hope many others do the same.
Freedom almost never goes out with a huge bang. It is usually with a whimper.
Already voted, and also praying. Thank you for your prayers. But, whatever happens, remember that the soul of the U.S. is strong— many people are deluded, but if the worst happens, that delusion won’t last a first term. And, Americans can express ourselves strongly even against a strong governing party. In effect, we can cow them if they go too far. Remember HillaryCare! ;-)
“Have faith in God...For assuredly whoever says to this mountain be removed and cast into the sea and does not doubt but believes those things will be done, he will have what he says. Whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them and you will have them”. Mark 11:22-24
I’ll be voting at 7am in New York. I got 5 other Dems to come with me and vote the McCain/Palin ticket. It won’t do much good but I’m praying that my fellow Americans won’t let us down.
Keep canvasing and bringing people to the polls if they can’t get there...vote, vote, vote.
