Obama Is in Trouble in Key States
The Republican Trust PAC ^ | Nov 2, 2008 | Scott Wheeler

Posted on 11/02/2008 1:01:32 PM PST by Ikemeister

With so many polls showing Obama "ahead" you may be wondering why we should fight.

Here's why.

When you strip away the national polls and look down deep into each of the battleground states, you find that this is NOT a runaway election for Barack Obama.

In fact, the race is tied in almost ALL of the battleground states.

The Mason Dixon poll for Fla. and Virginia not only has Obama and McCain statistically tied, but up to 9% of voters in each state are still undecided.

We see the same trends in Ohio and Missouri.

For the past several weeks the media have been trumpeting every poll showing Obama ahead. Polls showing McCain-Palin's strength get shoved to the bottom of the page.

The media wants to create a "feeling" of Obama's imminent victory. It is nothing less than psychological warfare to drain you of your enthusiasm.

Don't buy into this nonsense.

We can win this!

I have been told that ever since we began airing our Obama and Rev. Wright ad in Ohio, McCain's decline stopped and he began to see a turnaround.

Right now we are pumping millions into both battleground states and into national TV ads.

Dick Morris says undecideds will swing in a big way behind McCain. But they need to be reminded how radical and risky Obama is.

We are doing that!

On Monday my ad buyer is on stand by. I will give him final instructions on buying ads Monday night and Tuesday morning.

I need your help to continue our final push.

You can help by Going Here Now.

You can see our powerful TV ads — Go Here Now.

We are making a huge difference.

Thank you for standing up for our great country.

Yours for America,

Scott Wheeler Executive Director

P.S. Dick Morris said on Fox News that our TV ad exposing the Obama-Wright connection is the most powerful weapon John McCain now has. I can still place millions in new ads Monday night and Tuesday morning. Help me do this! It’s not over ‘til it’s over.

We CAN win this.

Where the Polls Went Wrong (FLASHBACK: Carter Reagan)

http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/2122665/posts

“For weeks before the presidential election, the gurus of public opinion polling were nearly unanimous in their findings. In survey after survey, they agreed that the coming choice between President Jimmy Carter and Challenger Ronald Reagan was “too close to call.” A few points at most, they said, separated the two major contenders.

But when the votes were counted, the former California Governor had defeated Carter by a margin of 51% to 41% in the popular vote - a rout for a U.S. presidential race. In the electoral college, the Reagan victory was a 10-to-l avalanche that left the President holding only six states and the District of Columbia. “

Let’s “Win one for the Gipper”.

PS. The GOPTrust is doing a great job in alerting people to the real Obama.

The undecided voters don't feel they know enough about Obama in 2008, especially because he says one thing in one place, and another thing in another place.

The undecided voters know that Obama is young.

They know that he'll be around in 2012, and they will have an opportunity to vote for him THEN, if they decide they want to.

Over the next 4 years, it's up to Obama to clearly tell them facts to help them make a decision.

Take time to think before you vote for Obama 2008 2012!

McCain is losing Ohio.

Is your agenda based mindset perhaps a misdirected one?

I’m just sayin’.

"trouble!!! ya right!!! stop deluding yourselves!!! McCain is gonna loose this election because he made the wrong VP choice!!! Istead of wasting money on his campaign the the reps should have instead focussed on the senate race where they at least had a chance."

LOL!! Picking Sarah is the one thing McCain did right.

Sarah Palin POTUS 2012.

He’s basing that on a poll in a newspaper. They couldn’t be wrong, could they? ;-)

He should have gone with either romney or arnie.Sure arnie can’t become president(if something happened to McCain) but but had he done so,things would be much different now. Palin is a joke...She’s the GAFFER-IN-CHIEF

Ya Mac should have picked Mittens. Or maybe flange head Ridge. Of course there is always the exciting Tiny Tim Pawlenty. Without Palin there would have been no chance.

You should check out sidewinder009’s earlier posts in FR. I’m thinking his account has been hijacked, he’s been replaced by a pod-person, or he’s a halfway-decent sleeper agent (with crappy execution).

The only reason McCain has any chance of winning is because of his VP pick.

The only reason McCain has any chance of winning is because his competitor is promoting anti-American ideologue with fervor and Americans mostly want America to survive.

Yes, Dick Morris is a putz and will campaign for the first person to offer him a shiny nickel, but I’m pretty sure he was getting the ad numbers from the PAC that’s running them.

Less than 48 hours!!! One final push to save the U.S.A.!

The challenge:

Between NOW and election day, convince at least two Obama/Undecided voters to vote for McCain. (family, neighbors, friends, people waiting in the check-out line) Further, convince these two people (or two others) to take up the same challenge. (Like a chain letter)

So you have converted people in the past? Good, but we need more!

Many Obama supporters are mindlessly supporting him, with no real reason, this means it is VERY easy to get them to switch over. Even if you fail, other Obama/undecideds may be in the room and hear valid arguments and question their faith in the One.

Don’t kick yourself a week from now saying “I could’ve done more....”

Do your part...your country depends on it!

My vote is my donation. And that goes to the top race, certainly not the party or down ballot.

So if it looks like 0bama's winning, you're voting for him?
