If she lives in Northern Virginia, she might like my parish.

Fortunately not that way at my catholic church in Northern Virginia. Every Sunday since Labor day the pastor reminds us that we need to vote for the pro-life candidate. This week, he gave a special announcement after mass informing us that one candidate is in support of the Free-Choice Act and that we cannot vote for such a candidate. Life before liberty before pursuit of happiness and the economy. At least twice this fall he compared abortion to the Holocaust and slavery. After mass, voters guides in our bulletins and abortion pamphlets on our cars greeted us.

Sounds like a great parish. There are some good parishes in Philly; this diocese is one of the more conservative in the country.
The younger priests are very good and orthodox, as are the oldsters. But the guys who went to the seminary in the seventies are really screwed up doctrinally, and in some cases, morally. Unfortunately, many of them are just the right age to be pastors, and they lead the whole parish down the wrong path, even when their fellow residing priests are good guys.
