Overall, I think SNL was stacked against the left this year.
They have had some skits on that just pulverized the media.
They had one on last week that pulverized Biden and Murtha.
I don’t think the Tina Fey skits on Palin are ruining her. Look at the Hillary folks who have jumped party to support McCain/Palin.
My take on it is that Palin looks a lot better in person after the silly pseudo-trashing she gets on SNL.
Palin is going to get stronger over the next four years, and not SNL or anyone else is going to be able to play her off like a dolt the way they did Quayle for instance.

It’s so funny even the NYC audience has to laugh at it.

HAHAHAHAHA comparing apartment board to Pol Pot and Genocide......Olberman living with his mother.....>PURE GOLD!!
To: forYourChildrenVote4Bush
The skit is absolutely vicious. They are making Olberman look like the greatest blowhard in the history of television (which may be true). He is now waxing nutty about how a board of residents won’t allow him to move into a building because he owns a cat called Miss Perfect or some such thing. It’s so over the top!

Good to read about - Overbite is the most vile hate filled person on TV news right now....and I know some people who gobble up his vileness every night!
I has great reservations about Sen. McCain going on SNL this weekend. Glad the bits did well and were not disasters.

I had to take care of something... was it a parody or just an outright impersonation of Olbermann?

Parody doesn’t quite cut it as a term in this case.

Did anyone catch Fey when she brushed her lapel with her hand at the begining of the skit...LOL! I caught it -- right when McCain was talking about how much money campaigns cost.

It think Afleck was pure genius. Spinning around in the chair, stamping his feet, the righteous indignation mixed with insanity. Awesome!

Affleck really got into the Olbermann parody. I almost forgive him for hosting Obama fundraisers this year.
