Not if the dimocRATS control the Senate, Congress and appoint the judges to the Supreme Court. They will make sure the Constitution is a “living” document.

This has been posted already but the word needs to get out about this. Another thread won't hurt a thing.

Since when would that stop them. Our fearless leaders have been chipping away at the Constitution for years. All he will have to say is Homeland Security.

The house and senate will go right along.

It’s not illegal if he gets a few new Supreme Court justices and they say it’s legal. This is getting more and more frightening.

Exactly. Now, what we will do about it IF it becomes a reality?

I have a good neighbor who's a retired veteran and very politically and historically astute. He has been telling me for the past few years that we WILL have a civil war, a rebellion, or an uprising in this country in my lifetime. I was beginning to think he'd lost a few of his marbles, but now I think I owe him an apology for even thinking it as it may very well become a reality sooner than I thought. This is his rally cry, so to speak:

We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness. That to secure these rights, Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed, That whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new Government, laying its foundation on such principles and organizing its powers in such form, as to them shall seem most likely to effect their Safety and Happiness. Prudence, indeed, will dictate that Governments long established should not be changed for light and transient causes; and accordingly all experience hath shewn, that mankind are more disposed to suffer, while evils are sufferable, than to right themselves by abolishing the forms to which they are accustomed. Half of our laws are illegal already. The problem is that our congress critters don’t care and the SCOTUS doesn’t declare constitutionality unless someone manages to bring a court case up to them....in which case they can just deny hearing it. Or with a majority whack job liberal will find some non-existant right not actually there.
