I have a good neighbor who's a retired veteran and very politically and historically astute. He has been telling me for the past few years that we WILL have a civil war, a rebellion, or an uprising in this country in my lifetime. I was beginning to think he'd lost a few of his marbles, but now I think I owe him an apology for even thinking it as it may very well become a reality sooner than I thought. This is his rally cry, so to speak:

The first time I see them I will throw tomatoes at them.
The Middle (Red) States would probably secede from the Crazy (Blue) Quotation States, becoming another country within the country...given the polarizing nature of this candidate.
It's not about 'Uniting' the parties so much with 0bama as it is Forced Acceptance of his policies.
...Besides, this has been practiced by every dictator throughout modern history, from Lenin to Chavez.

Yes, our RIGHT and DUTY! Do not wring your hands and cower, steel your hearts and face the enemy standing up. Calm those in distress, encourage, strengthen them, all generations have their challenges, think of our forefathers' days, "nothing was inevitable there" (a little paraphrasing of Sen. McCain doesn't hurt a bit), persevere, keep God before us.
