ZOGBY SATURDAY: McCain outpolled Obama 48% to 47% in Friday poll. He is beginning to cut into Obama's lead among independents, is now leading among blue collar voters, has strengthened his lead among investors and among men, and is walloping Obama among NASCAR voters. Joe the Plumber may get his license after all...
Good deal.
That’s the spirit!
So by my math, per Zogby Obama had to rack up +16 points on Wednesday & Thursday nights (in a number of possible 2-number combinations), so that once we add McCain’s 1 point gain last night, we get an average +5 Obama lead.

15/3 = 5
Either the voters are just schizo volatile, or there’s something screwy about Zogby’s polling methods.
And Zogby was most accurate in 2000 while Rasmussen was bad.
So, we can pick and choose, right?
lol
I almost feel sorry for them, knowing what they’re going to go through when Lucy takes the football away again.
"Show me just what Mohammed brought that was new, and there you will find things only evil and inhuman, such as his command to spread by the sword the faith he preached." - Manuel II Palelologus
Zogby was the third most accurate in 2004. Only Tipp and CBS News did better:

Zogby was 7th in accuracy in 2000 but still did a pretty darn good job:

He did better in 2004 when he was off by only 1.4%
If you look at both 2000 and 2004, TIPP and CBS News are the clear winners. In 2000, CBS News was off by .5% and TIPP was off by 1%. In 2004, TIPP was off by .3% and CBS News was off by .4%.
They can’t fool us.
My greatest fear is that they are going to stir up civil unrest after Obama loses.
If McCain wins, I would like to frame the Drudge Report Page, the moment it becomes official.
How do you save a snapshot of a web page?
I understand but there is some heavy psychological warfare out there, this poll is huge, it helps rally the troops, helps motivate the volunteers, it bucks up the campaign, it gives the bloggers and conservative pundits a spirit, remember Obi-Wan over at NRO said the Obama campaign fears seeing one poll that is tied or has McCain in the lead, now we have it.
If the tide keeps going McCain’s way he is peaking at the right time, remember, Americans love an underdog.
Savage said something tonight, he said the infomercial might have been the final straw, that Americans have a pretty good BS detector.
Palin was talking about the Richardson comment but now on Saturday McCain/Palin needs to bring up the selfish comment. First we have patriotic to pay higher taxes, now they are telling us we are selfish if we want lower taxes. This guy sounds like the Brits when they were ruling us.
I would cut a campaign commercial with the Boston Tea Party or the Founders, and have Obama’s audio, and then have the Revolution and next to it SELFISH with a question mark.
I would do the same thing with the Constitution remark.
I love the comparison on Drudge, with Barry running away and McCain smirking.
Exactly!
And there will be Freepers who will swear that he is accurate!
No, he is still a joke, just today he is OUR joke!
Does this mean that McCain has regained the lead with Jewish voters?
Trig has a GOP Elephant costume!
Too cute!
