Barack Obama says if you don't want to hike your taxes, you're selfish.
Speaking in Sarasota, Fla., Thursday, Obama said he wanted to change the tax code to help the middle class and charged that in opposing his tax raising programs, Sen. John McCain and Gov. Sarah Palin were making a "virtue out of selfishness."
Writing in the ABC News Political Punch blog, senior national correspondent Jake Tapper reported that Obama insisted that he has nothing against the rich.
"The reason that we want to do this, change our tax code, is not because I have anything against the rich," Obama said, adding, "I love rich people! I want all of you to be rich. Go for it. Thats the America dream, thats the American way, thats terrific.
"The point is, though, that and its not just charity, its not just that I want to help the middle class and working people who are trying to get in the middle class its that when we actually make sure that everybodys got a shot when young people can all go to college, when everybodys got decent health care, when everybodys got a little more money at the end of the month then guess what? Everybody starts spending that money, they decide maybe I can afford a new car, maybe I can afford a computer for my child.

Wasn’t the Waldorf thing debunked?
Well, that Barry shore has a way with words. I thought Merriam-Webster may help with that, I was right.
“Selfish - having or showing a selfish desire for wealth and possessions” this seems to fit (Barry) more than me. especially being he will be selfish with my money.
“Greedy - seeking or concentrating on one’s own advantage, pleasure, or well-being without regard for others” what do you know this also seems to fit Barry (and his ilk) more than me.
I guess I will have to conclude that Barry is a selfish (he desires my wealth and possessions), greedy (he wants to use my money for his own advantage with no regard for me, the one who took the risk, invested the capital and did the labor) little bugger that wants power and access to the wealth of other for his own purposes.

Opposing higher taxes is selfishness but being a multimillionaire and not helping relatives in poverty isn’t?
When his tax returns start showing a 10% tithe to charities and churches, then I’ll start listening to the preacher. Until then, he’s a dickhead who wants to steal my money.
OH, I missed that — was that Waldorf thing a hoax? I only saw what first came out..... maybe that was in the category of “too good to be true”.....

Both, and let us not forget that it is patriotic to pay our taxes, according to Biden.
Supporting higher taxes is greedy and envious.
If you want to see selfishness, read Zero and Biden’s tax returns.
The pollsters have less of a percentage of prediction than Weathermen—by far.
I thought I read that somewhere.
Still, your point is well taken.
Tell Ø’s supporters to stop coveting!
Just like Biden saying paying taxes is patriotic. What a joke.
"...and, if the higher taxes are levied to pay for Reparations, opposing the tax increase is racist -- you gun-clutching xenophobic typical white grandmas!"
It's not charity, it's pure theft. And it's not just "the rich" getting shafted, as the multitudes of Obama-voting morons in the middle class would find out soon enough. They can't say they weren't warned. ...over and over again.
I wish it were worth it, but they honestly don’t understand they word you are saying.
“Is he that stupid or that arrogant?”
YES
More importantly, I would say he hinges on evil.
Lobster and Caviar Story Retracted
"Clarification: Michelle Obama was in New York on the evening of Oct. 15 to attend the final presidential debate but did not stay in the Waldorf-Astoria, according to the Obama campaign (and the New York Post retraction). She left Indiana after her afternoon speech. The receipt is dated 4:04 pm, at which time the campaign says Obama had not yet arrived in New York."
