If Barack Obama is elected into office as the 44th president of the United States on Nov. 4 and voters, in tandem,...

Will know a free Democratic Republic no more.

That call for a civilian force to serve inside the nation that is every bit as strong as the military we have now, is enough right there to sink Obambi on it’s own.

I can’t even fathom that this guy could possibly be stupid enough to mention this before being voted in.

If Bambi Hussein wins, FR becomes a bigger target. If not, the socialism continues, albeit at a slower pace. This are not an extension of the Clinton years, this is a whole new ballgame. Forewarned is ... here we go ...

If Bambi wins... the manifesto has played itself out. Duck and cover, I guess.

Sure there was. You brought up Clinton. The public voted for him twice. The 1994 election was great. So was Reagan’s election. But I see nothing in the current climate to point to those events repeating themselves. Show me a Newt Gingrich in the house today. yeah - “Let’s lose so bad that maybe a Reagan or Newt will show up and save us”. Yeah, right.

So I see no reason to to believe the same people that elect Obama will suddenly become conservatives in 2 years and see the light. If he raises taxes on 4% of Americans I am not sure how 94% of them are going to suddenly vote conservative in 2 years. Socialism is like slowly boiling a frog. Damage occurs over a long time. So this line of thinking is wishful thinking and irrelevant.

Yes, it’s an actual quote. He said it yesterday, October 30, at a rally in Colombia, Missouri, I think. You can google the quote.

I know it's hard to comprehend as a conservative however for a liberal like Obama it's second nature to be stupid.

Sadly enough, dumbing down of our population is an asset to liberals politically and they depend upon that vote in mass.

Right. Huge point. Some people can’t see the forest for the trees.

Rule 1: you have to have the votes to win.

And it usually takes persuasion to get people to your way of thinking. This idea of letting the opposition win in the belief they will do so bad that the public will demand you get the ball is silly beyond belief and short sighted. We need to get people to vote for conservatives because they undertstand it not to just temporarily get back at the other side.

I like the way you think.

My hatches are pretty well battened down as far as they can go, but I can work on convincing others. :)

“What happens after Inauguration Day?”

Who has that pix of North & South Korea at night?

Except it’ll be lit around the edges of North America and dark in the middle. You know. The “middle” where everything is produced for the coasts?

Won’t be long and it’ll be a total blackout, because I, for one, will stop “producing” anything more than what my family needs to survive. Why share with the elitists on either coast or in DC? ;)

They take WAY more than their share as it is and a Dem White House, House & Senate won’t bode well for anyone.

My only comparison is what we thought as a group, when Clinton first took office. Then like now folks were sure it was the end of the world. Hillary’s past associations, Bill’s, there were some serious warning signs. It didn’t play out. I’m glad.

Will Obama’s goals play out? I remain a skeptic.

I think folks have a reason to disagree, and I’m not going to fault them. In time they may be proven right.

I do see Obama as very problematic.

Plain talk, did people turn conservative in 1994? No. So it’s just childish to act like they have to in 2010, to swap out Congress to the Republicans.

Thanks for your additional comments. Most of them were a waste from my point of view. I haven’t made any suggestion Obama will be voted out in 2012. I didn’t make any claims folks would turn Conservative.

I agree. I still can’t believe he would make certain statements before being elected. It boggles the mind. I understand your point, but I wouldn’t make any statement that could be deemed a killer, if folks acknowledged it.
