In the early days of the Marxist takeover of Imperial Russia, there were as I understand neighborhood courts that could sentence you for what was deemed anti-social behavior. Perhaps you may also remember the scenes in the Movie Dr. Zhivago, where the street riff raff took over most of the rooms of middle class houses.
This is just one more bit of evidence that Obama has a very dangerous philosophic take on human society--certainly not that which has prevailed in mainstream America since the first European settlements. [And please, don't someone remind me of the initial collectivist experiments in some, like at Plymyth in 1620. That was wholly voluntary, and very short lived.]

I think this man should be judged by the company he has kept all his life....and not a conservative America lover among them.

Yes, you understand the technique very well. Another example is the response to the charge that he was influenced by William Ayers, that he was only eight years old when Ayers was blowing up buildings. Of course, the real issue was and is, whether he shares Ayers' lifelong commitment to change America into an egalitarian Socialist monolithic society.

Is it selfish to want to take care of your own family?

Is it selfish to spend your earned wages with the neighborhood grocery store?
Is it selfish to support the youth athletic programs that play in the park a few blocks from your home?
Is it selfish to buy the goods and services that you have worked for?
This simply astonishes me. They want to take my money away from me, my church, my school, and my neighborhood and give it to strangers in another neighborhood, another state, or another country?

In liberal speak taking money from one person and giving it to another is called compassion. Using your own money to support your family, church, and community is selfish.
Atlas Shrugged is one of my favorite books of all time. It’s scary how closely some of Obama’s rhetoric mimics the things that happen in the book — things that until now I never dreamed I’d hear an American leader pushing for.
What a great example of unselfish, good one.
Wait a second. Obama wants to take the money I earned and *I’m* selfish? Must be a new definition of selfish.
