Is it selfish to want to take care of your own family?

Is it selfish to want to contribute to your local church?

Is it selfish to spend your earned wages with the neighborhood grocery store?

Is it selfish to support the youth athletic programs that play in the park a few blocks from your home?

Is it selfish to buy the goods and services that you have worked for?

This simply astonishes me. They want to take my money away from me, my church, my school, and my neighborhood and give it to strangers in another neighborhood, another state, or another country?

Selfish?

A guy who has spent close to a billion dollars of other people’s money so he can be the most powerful person in the world? He lectures us on selfishness?

In liberal speak taking money from one person and giving it to another is called compassion. Using your own money to support your family, church, and community is selfish.
