The Democrats in key swing states are splitting for McCain in big numbers. This effect has either not been noted, or has been ignored, by most pundits.
Democrats are beaming that their party is outperforming the Republicans in early voting, releasing numbers Wednesday that show registrants of their party ahead 54 percent to 30 percent among the 1.4 million voters who have gone to the polls early.
Poll gives McCain lead in Florida early voting
Yet, a poll of early voters in Florida provides a curious anomaly.
A Los Angeles Times/Bloomberg poll gave McCain a 49-45 lead over Democrat Barack Obama among Floridians who have already voted.
Then we have all the Hillary Democrats, at sites like HillBuzz, reporting on potential McCain victories in Pennsylvania, Florida, Iowa, New Hampshire and even Maine!
In Pennsylvania, Democrats hard at work not just voting, but campaigning for McCain!
DEMOCRATS are staffing McCain offices across the state. DEMOCRATS are phone banking and canvassing for McCain. DEMOCRATS are raising large sums to fund this last week of campaigning.

As mentioned above, key indicators that Democrats in Florida are voting for McCain.
analysis indicates Democrats voting early in Florida are voting for John McCain in huge numbers

Disenfranchised Hillary Democrats in Iowa, New Hampshire and Maine also shifting to McCain.
And all of us agree that on election night, the media will be spinning and sputtering and trying to explain things that those of us on the ground have seen coming for months now.

Perhaps the Obama re-indoctrination camps will include English classes.
Oh, that's right, the Euroweenie Socialist would rather teach us Spanish or French.
Just kidding.
We are going to kick his ass on Tuesday. :)
I don’t doubt you’ll hear that too. It does surprise me how the left turns on it’s own in certain instances though. And IMO, this Obama character is ripe for a massive amount of negative reporting post election.
There is a massive void of reporting concerning Obama’s intimate information. In nature, voids don’t go unfilled.
The PUMAS will put McCain over the top.
I've seen polling data that claimed about 25% of Hillary voters, would vote for McCain. This was back in the Summer after the primaries. I have seen the number of about 1/3 bandied about on threads, but don't know if that is accurate or not.
In the privacy of the voting booth; and I realize a great deal of that has been deliberately and systematically undermined; Americans are going to have individual moments of self-something-or-other where they realize the change they want as embodied by this overglorified street hustler is way over the top. Yeah, sure, there are plenty of unrepentant idiots who think 0bama gonna pay their gas bill and their rent for them and give them all kinds of goodies and give them their chance to get back at Whitey all in one bundle. Yeah sure, there are plenty of youts who don’t know any better; it’s their job to be wackos when they are young. But if you believe that the great majority of Americans are working folk who realize that 0bama doesn’t drag their ass out of bed to get to work in the morning and that nobody they know makes $4 million Hollywood ego trip infomercials about themselves...then at that moment of decision, this POS ain’t gonna fly.

Early or later voting really does not matter.
Consider the Washington State Governors Race last election cycle.
The Democrat Precinct people just kept “Finding” boxes of ballots until Gregoire won the race.
Yeah, now it does. The mods changed it.
Take 22 minutes and watch the video half way down the page called “God Save America”.
This is amazing:

I don’t put much stock in the puma claims. They’re beyond emotional about O’Bomber. We shall see.
Bump!
That’s wonderful news.

I'm thinking that the McCain camp is trying not to scare you guys back into Obama's camp by coming on too strong.
He took a chance by choosing Palin but he needed to do that to bring back the GOP base or otherwise we'd stay home. And a lot of us would have because McCain ain't exactly our kind of Conservative.
That's the only thing I can think of.
Don't forget do-gooders and rednecks!
It is absolutely stunning that none of the hundreds of media polls have made so much as an effort to quantify this effect.
They have steadfastly gone about their business as if it doesn't exist. But, by golly, we know it does.
When Bill Clinton came along, I was convinced that reasoned people on the left would see him for what he was, and bolt. Well, they either didn’t see him for what he was, or they chose to consciously go over to the dark side, literally.
Some did decide to go over to the dark side. You can look at the public posts of the left and see irrefutable evidence of it. I do remain somewhat convinced that there is a dynamic in play that receives far too little attention though. I’ll explain.
You and I are pretty much convinced that there is one dynamic at play in politics. Oh there’s many dynamics, but they all boil down to one, more or less. That dynamic is, who espouses the best policies. A guy can be more left than we like, but we’ll vote for him. A guy may be a good person but have terrible policies, and we’ll avoid them like the plague. But here’s the kicker.
I had never realized that folks don’t just look for the best man or best polices until Bill Clinton. Sure he got votes from people who thought he was the best man on those counts, but he also got votes from people who thought he was a lout. He got those votes because he gave them plausible deniability. And I’m not talking about plausible deniability they could quote when talking to friends. I mean plausible deniability they could use when arguing with themselves.
Bill Clinton had the best crew of propagandists the world has ever seen. He also had the media in his hip pocket. No matter what he had done, they were able to find a wedge argument that would allow those who wanted to, to still vote for him.
If Richard Nixon had Bill Clinton’s spin machine and the media, he could have served four terms in office.
If Bill did something despicable, they would say...
Lots of people do this, don’t judge so harshly...
Lots of people do this, you wouldn’t take away their job...
Republicans have been doing something like this for decades...
Yes he’s somewhat flawed, but most geniuses are...
Yes he’s flawed, but we need his wisdom and leadership...
Yes he’s flawed, but the best leaders throughout history were...
Yes he’s flawed, but what will we get in his place...
None of these exonerated Clinton. What they did do, was allow people who like his policies but couldn’t stomach the man personally, to excuse him, and still vote for him. It allowed them to live with themselves.
Sure this is a situation I don’t like, but I’ll be darned if it couldn’t be worse. Sure this is a situation I don’t like, but those Republicans are being unfair to him. Sure this is a situation I don’t like, but it is true that “this arguement” does allow me to still back him, even if he has been a jerk. We just have to have him, and I can live with the fact I voted for him.
Isn’t that precisely what WE have going on right now, without mentioning names?
The Clinton team gave folks a reason to stay with him.
I think Obama has some of the same dynamics in play here. They have given the folks leaning in his direction, a reason to stick with him no matter what is revealed. And like lemmings on the way to the cliff, these folks are mesmerized in a way you and I can’t fathom.
Plausible deniability. I may not have explained this premise very well. I hope you can understand where I am coming from.
This is a dynamic that I have come to think of as very powerful over the last ten years or so. It’s a dynamic that I have found myself less and less willing to be a part of. I don’t like being jobbed.
No idiot in the McCain camp released info on Palin going rogue, that was made up out of whole cloth. You can tell by the "unnamed sources" they always use. As for the rest of it we are doing plenty to get out the vote and we will win. We can't speak for the swift boats or any other 527, but they are out there. We were hampered this time by McCain playing the good guy and taking public financing because he actually believed Bozo would do the same simply because Bozo gave his word.
