Still early (see the FL thread, which has Obama with a mere 7.5% early vote lead---at a time when Kerry led by 16% and still managed to lose by 5%!!), but this could translate into more than a narrow McCain victory.

Sorry - but I can’t stand this Early Voting stuff. This is nothing more than a ruse pushed heavily by the Left so that they can get an idea of how many busloads of Illinois voters they gotta ship somewhere to counter their deficits. It’s made to order for fraud by virtue of giving them a month-long running tally of what they need to do, which is why the Left endorses it so heavily. The Supremes need to outlaw Early Voting as unconstitutional, in my humble (and admitedly unlearned) opinion.
All I know is here in Central VA in Chesterfield I’ve never seen as much interest not in 2000 or 2004. We can not keep signs and people are SCARED. It is the first thing out of their mouth when I talk to them. One guy argued with his buddy who was a weak supporter so he would put a sign in his yard.
I may just be just seeing what I want to see but I will not be surprised when McCain wins the Presidency.

We have heard about the surge in Democrat registration and about how all these Republicans switch parties to vote in the primaries.
We have also heard about Operation Chaos, and how many of these Republicans were intending to vote McCain in the general, but wanted to vote Clinton in the primary to sabotage "The One"
I haven't heard much about the other way around. How many Republicans voted Obama in the primary, because they wanted to put the last nail in the coffin of the Clintons for good?
We have heard estimates of how many Clinton Primary voters will vote Obama in the General, but the real question now is:
"How many Obama Primary voters will vote Obama in the General?"

0bama’s fleet sails serenely on in the dark, his intelligence sources say that there are only minor forces opposing him, and he will be able to sweep them away. After all, his sailors have been trained for years in night fighting and have excellent night vision. By dawn, he expects to reach the enemy transport fleet and sink them all.
What he does not know is that McCain’s full battlefleet is waiting for him at the exit of the strait, he knows 0bama is coming, and he’s waiting. While McCain’s sailors may not have practiced much in night vision, his ships have something 0bama does not: Radar. And he is sitting in the perfect position, having crossed the “T.”
When 0bama’s fleet is in range, the gunnery officers give the word to fire....

I have a gut feeling McCain/Palin will win this election. Hollywood/MSM/Congress will not suppress the excitement of the GOP. Have faith folks, we will see the American people make the right choice on Nov 4.
