BOYNTON BEACH — Carol Anne Burger killed her former lover by stabbing her 222 times with a Phillips-head screwdriver and then took pains to hide her crime, police said Wednesday.
Jessica Kalish, who shared a house with Burger despite breaking up with her more than a year ago, was found last Thursday stuffed in the backseat of her gun-metal BMW sedan, abandoned behind a medical office at 2300 S. Congress Avenue. Her blood was splashed around the rear end and undercarriage of the car, as if her killer had tried to load her into the trunk. The circumstances of her death remain unclear; police believe she may have taken her own life after learning that her roommate - and former partner - had been found dead.

The thing is that before they accidentally trod on politics (Carol told my wife a nasty joke about McCain and my wife patiently explained that she didn't find it funny), they were pretty close in the class. Carol showed up like clockwork and took the front of the class. I am wondering if she had a crush on my wife...
Anyway, my wife is pretty tough (kickboxer), but I still get the willies thinking about it.

McCain is far from the perfect candidate and is far from being conservative enough. However, with his past of walking the aisle between parties, even threatening to switch parties, he just may be the best man for the times.
Normally I would not feel this way, wanting instead an overwhelmingly conservative ticket and not someone who has had such a long history in DC, but in times like these, perhaps that is exactly what is needed. I know the divisiveness and general unrest we see now will be much, much worse if 0bama wins and he, Reid and Pelosi have their way with the country, courts and Constitution.

She was just acting out her frustration at being screwed by the bigoted Christian Right, which kept this gentle couple from being married.
They are far too accessible.
My first thought on hearing that she actually had a handgun is that it was likely only fired once. And that will be proof that “guns kill.”
That should give you pause to be thankful. Long ago, during Clinton's "reign" we decided not to trust Left family members and that has proven beneficial. While they rage and explode out of control, we are clear of them and their behavior. It is truly a mental disorder and that is no joke.
Our lives are much more peaceful, we continue to fight for our conservative candidates and watch our former family/friends go off like skyrockets, it's the one little pleasure we have these days.
Remember: even if they win by a landslide, they will still be deranged and not content until you are silenced completely even if that means having you picked up at 2AM by the "National Security Force but not the military, but larger than the military".

This type thing will continue to happen until we ban these cheap, easily bought, pointy tools; otherwise known as “Saturday Night Screwdrivers”. Until we remove these instruments of death from our streets we can expect these types of grisly murders, as well as “drive by screwings”. God help us if they ever get their hands on an awl!

My son works for a major defense contractor and is ragged on by fellow workers for being a Republican. When he tries to explain the Barney Frank 25% military reduction, they simply say—not true, Barry would never do that.
