I live in Delaware County which went heavily for Kerry in 2004. It is right outside Philly. I drove around today and I am really surprised by the number of McCain signs - even in the minority neighborhoods.

My husband and sons are headed into Philly right now. I couldn’t talk him out of it. It’s been so long since the Phillies have won the World Series. He grew up there (now living in South Jersey), and he’s been waiting for this day for so long. :-)

GRRR!!! Let's see if the hooligans torch Frankford Avenue or North Broad this time.

I should note that I spent a six month period living in the Philadelphia area when I was four. One of those six months was October 1980, when the "Fullies" won the series.

I guess Opama and Piden don't count.

I've seen the Republican nominee called McPain on FR.

Obama is no Reagan. Reagan wouldn’t pal around with terrorists or advocate wealth redistribution.

Reagan was more than glitzy productions. The American People connected to him and his message and ideas.

Obama is just the glitz.

And yes, McCain’s campaign was woeful — but Obama still cannot shake him off. And in the end, I believe McCain will win if the trends continue.

Congrats Philly fans from an Astros fan and a Brad Lidge fan.

Now get those Pennsylvania electoral votes into the McCain column.

I hate baseball, but hey...I’m still a good sport of a sort. ;)

This ONLY happened because a statue of William Penn was placed on top of the Comcast center.

My wife and I (we grew up in Chester County) are still shocked that the Phils won. FINALLY!!!!!!

My wife and I were in Delco Saturday and I too noticed a lot more McCain signs than I remember seeing of Bush in 04. I also noticed quite a lot of McCain signs in Chesco as well on Sunday when I went out there.

A Republican has been elected president every time the Phillies have won the World Series

There are a lot of Catholics and seniors in Delco. Let’s hope the Catholics abide by Church teaching.

I am laughing because dozens of people are on tv telling their employers - they aren’t coming to work tomorrow. They are going to celebrate tonight. Poor Obama - there goes his election day volunteers....
