Her Name Is Governor Palin
Wednesday, October 29, 2008
By Howard Galganov
Why are they called Senators Obama, Biden and McCain, while she is called just Sarah, or just Sarah Palin?
Why isnt she called Governor Palin or just Governor?
Not to refer to her by her proper title is not just insulting and demeaning, it is also horribly dishonest. Even past governors such as Huckabee and Romney are still referred to as Mr Governor when spoken to or introduced.
Rudy Giuliani is still called Mr Mayor. And he hasnt been the Mayor of New York for almost 2 terms.
When the BOYS speak and debate about their experience to run the USA, not one of them can hold an administrative candle next to Governor Palin, since not one of them has ever really administered anything.
When they speak about the experience that gives them approbation to sit in the White House, what experience are they talking about?
Not one of them has any experience that qualifies them for the office of the President of the USA.
The ONLY person to have real Presidential experience is the person who has already been in that office.
So what does it really come down to in terms of choosing a US President?
It comes down to real experience, character and the ability to lead. McCain has two and a half out of three. Biden and Obama have zero out of three combined.
Governor Sarah Palin has a strong two out of three. As a matter of fact, based upon a REAL track record and experience, the Governor is far more qualified to be the President of the USA than Obama and Biden combined.
Just about the entire mainstream media, with the exclusion of FOX News has swamped the Governors home State of Alaska trying to find any dirt they could on her, and came away with nothing.
They delved into her personal and family life and once again came away with nothing.
But what none of them did was focus on her Gubernatorial style and success. They never asked why a rookie Governor in her second year of a four-year term has an approval rating of 85%.
They never asked how the Governor was able to balance the books, reduce taxes and return a substantial amount of money to her taxpayers. Or how she managed to clean up so much political corruption.
They never delved into the deal she brokered that made it possible for the oil and gas companies to pony-up $40 BILLION to create a gas pipeline that will feed the energy thirsty lower 48.
WHY NOT?
The media has had a field day with her $150,000 wardrobe. So what? Whats the big deal? I for one liked the way she looked. How much her Party spent to dress her up to make her look good is not an issue.
Maybe the media scrags are just jealous of her sensational good looks?
How many questions have ever been asked about Nancy Pelosis wardrobe? Or the wardrobe costs of Hillary Clinton to hide her big ass?
But why stop there?
Obamas clothes don't look like theyve come off the racks of Wal-Mart. And neither do the clothes of Biden or McCain.
So whats with this sexist elitist crap the media has with Governor Palin?
Governor Sarah Palin is the ONLY bright spot in this entire campaign, especially if youre a Republican.
In Governor Sarah Palin there really is a breath of fresh air. Here is a person who is absolutely capable of doing anything the BIG BOYS can do and more, since not one of them has ever had to do what shes done as an Executive Administrator.
And now that she has the taste for Presidential Politics, and has shown that she can stand-up to the very worst a horribly biased, unfair and vicious press can throw at her, she has been fully vetted for 2012.
If Senator McCain wins and Governor Palin becomes the countrys first woman Vice President, she will shine, and eventually she will be catapulted to the Oval Office.
But, if Obama wins, as is more likely than not, in four years time, the people of America will be begging for Governor Sarah Palin to undo the mess Obama will make of the worlds greatest country.
Her name is Governor Palin. In four years time it very well might be President Palin.
I dont support many of her social issues, which include her anti CHOICE and anti-GAY rights policies, but I can live with them knowing that the majority of the people of the USA will never step back to the way it used to be.
As for her other policies on the economy, world affairs, a clean lean government and the RIGHTS of the INDIVIDUAL, Governor Palin would look real good behind that big desk in the Oval Office.

I voted already for Sarah ...
She says “call me Sarah”
Couric demanded that no one on her staff refer to Governor Palin as Governor.
Way to go, Howard!!!!
Otherwise it is ALWAYS Governor Sarah Palin or Gov. Sarah Palin, or Gov. Palin.
I know I refer to her as Sarah or Palin and that is probably not right but I feel such a close connection to her unlike any politician since President Reagan.
I think in the 70’s and 80’s I think I called him Reagan quite a bit too.
I think that your question has two answers:
1. The Press and Dems refer to her as “Sarah” and not “Governor Palin” to diminish her. It is intentional and part of their smear.
2. On the other hand, Governor Palin is extremely humble. Many people refer to her as Sarah because they identify with her as a real person.
The libs refused to call GW “President Bush”. Instead they always said “Mister Bush”.
I always call her Sarah. I probably always will.
Not doubting you, but where was this documented?
I always try to call her Gov. Palin because I think “Sarah” diminishes her experience and position. I want to remind people every single time she is mentioned that she’s not really the girl next door, she is the EXECUTIVE OFFICER of the LARGEST STATE IN THE UNION. Cut Alaska in half and Texas would still be the third largest state, “Sarah” doesn’t run that- Governor Palin does. I have been saying this for a long time and I think it’s proven true, somehow her executive experience has all but disappeared from the media and she’s been reinvented as “Sarah the cheerleader”. Ticks me off.
It depends on the context (whether a reference to Gov. Palin as “Sarah” is disrespectful, or less-than-appropriately-respectful).
I think Joe Biden gets a pass, given that, in their debate, Palin asked him if she could call him “Joe.” He agreed that she could. So he can refer to her as Sarah. (Still, there is a difference between ADDRESSING her as “Sarah” and REFERRING TO HER, elsewhere, as “Sarah.” I’d go with “Governor Palin” in the latter instance, so I agree with the author there.)
This is a malicious trick the MSM uses to strip their target of their rightful title (and the respect that would engender).
They did the same thing to President GW Bush when they began calling him “Mr. Bush” in articles and on television early in his presidency. They haven’t quit to this very day.
Same reason they call him Mr Bush. They just aren’t into the whole respectful title thing when there’s an R after the name.
I can’t say that I disagree. Gov. Palin has a decade’s worth of executive experience in politics. In addition, I believe she ran her own business for a while.
The presidency is an executive position. It’s not a position for posers. At least McCain has run a naval squadron before and comes from a long line of military leaders. He provided real leadership on the Iraq surge, for example.
Contrast McCain-Palin with Obama-Biden on their respective executive resumes. The only thing Obama ran was one measly foundation that handed out $60 mil. Whoopdedoo. When asked what executive experience he has had, he points to his own campaign for the presidency! LMAO. Biden hasn’t run anything in his life other than his mouth. Obama and Biden are nothing more than blowhard lawyers who got into politics.
Effective executives generally don’t come from the Senate. I think McCain is going to have to shed off the last 25 years he spent in the Senate in order to be an effective president.
As for Gov. Palin, she’s ready today. She’s taken on increasingly higher profile public executive positions and has done well at each step. You don’t do that unless you know how to lead.
The presidency is a leadership position. It is one that requires tough decisions, not muddled professorial lawyering.
It’s amusing how the media makes the position out to be the Professorship of the United States. It is the President of the United States and it requires a leader, not a poser.
Be careful Howard, she might even make some inroads into those social issues as well.
There are thousands of Sarahs, there is only one Governor Palin. You do her a great disservice.
Your post kicks a lotta ass.
