I think his dressing in jeans after Sarah did just smacks of desperation. He is clearly not at ease in his costume and Sarah is just doing the same thing she does at every other stop: connecting with the people.

Tangentially, I think he is striking out at Sarah now because her “following” is an offense to his wildly distorted ego.

I fell asleep last night with the TV on. At some point I woke up and found the biography channel was showing Jim Jones. One of the few survivors talked about Jones’s speeches, promises, etc. and it sounded exactly like Obama. Only 900 dead, but the same snakeoil/conman. My hair just about stood on end. I know FReepers have mentioned how alike they are, but to hear one of the survivors go on about ‘change the world’. Dreadful, and the MSM is complicit.
