RED ALERT Tip: Two quotes from the Obama-Khalidi videotape 

You know the videotape that shows Barack Obama toasting PLO terrorist Rashid Khalidi? The one that the Los Angeles Times refuses to release?

"The Los Angeles Times did not publish the videotape because it was provided to us by a confidential source who did so on the condition that we not release it," said the newspaper's editor, Russ Stanton...

How frickin' stupid do they think we are? Someone gave the Times a videotape so it wouldn't be released? And they can't publish a transcript?

I guess that's the kind of executive talent the newspaper business is attracting these days.

However, I received a tip from a person who has provided useful, accurate and unique data from LA before (e.g., "All six of CNN's 'undecided voters' were Democratic operatives"). Take it for what it's worth, but I believe this person is on target.

Saw a clip from the tape. Reason we can't release it is because statements Obama said to rile audience up during toast. He congratulates Khalidi for his work saying "Israel has no God-given right to occupy Palestine" plus there's been "genocide against the Palestinian people by Israelis."

It would be really controversial if it got out. Tha's why they will not even let a transcript get out.

I have to disagree with you on this one, I don’t think that many Jewish people are that stupid to vote for someone who is under-the-cover anti-Semetic (the worst kind). Have faith in the Jewish people.

Unfortunately, you are probably not correct. Not only liberal, secular Jews will vote for Obysmal, but apparently even some Orthodox Jews are planning to sign on for the Socialist One. (Perhaps they are among the Kibbutzniks...Communism lite.)

Look at this example:

No less than McCain is a centrist Republican, Obama is a pretty mainstream, centrist Democrat. Despite the claims to the contrary, his closest advisors all are traditional centrists. As for Eretz Yisroael, my eduication (advanced degrees in political science and law) has taught me that the U.S. has fundemental strategic interests of its own in supporting Israel, interests having nothing to to do with “loving Jews,”and that these essentially do not shift no matter who is president. Furthermore, the supposedly “arabist” views attributed to one of his advisors are all well within the political mainstream in Israel itself.

Personally, I am not afraid of Obama (Oy - I can just smell the “self-hating mamser” norishkeit that will come in response to this)- I think his domestic agenda is better for just about all of us - and I think that if he was a white man named Anderson most of you would have no great objection to him.

I think the history of domestic anti-Semetism is lost on a lot of you; quite frankly I think the extent of the out-and-out racism in our community is shameful.

IMHO, it goes way beyond being reluctant to admit you're voting for the other party. The open, free-wheeling and spirited debate that normally occurs in social and business circles at this time in an election is conspicuously restrained. There's an air of caution unlike anything I've seen before.

You know, I'm not one who subscribes to conspiracy theories, but the other day it crossed my mind that perhaps all the fraudulent votes cast by ACORN will be for McCain, so that a huge disparity occurs between the polls and the results, and Obama and Ayers can claim fraud on the Republicans' part, hopefully (for them) sparking riots in the streets and, ultimately, a race war.

That is, after all, what the Weathermen and the Black Panthers wanted for so long...

(by the way, I don't think this is the case, but wouldn't it make for a good book?)

I agree the weather will keep many home, especially since the events are late today and this evening in Sunrise and Kissimmee. Do wonder if there will be any FREEPER REPORTS this evening if some FL Freepers managed to get together for a Freep.

Then tomorrow Obama is going to be in Sarasota. Great time for a good Freep there if Freepers can manage to make it there.
