RED ALERT Tip: Two quotes from the Obama-Khalidi videotape 

You know the videotape that shows Barack Obama toasting PLO terrorist Rashid Khalidi? The one that the Los Angeles Times refuses to release?

"The Los Angeles Times did not publish the videotape because it was provided to us by a confidential source who did so on the condition that we not release it," said the newspaper's editor, Russ Stanton...

How frickin' stupid do they think we are? Someone gave the Times a videotape so it wouldn't be released? And they can't publish a transcript?

I guess that's the kind of executive talent the newspaper business is attracting these days.

However, I received a tip from a person who has provided useful, accurate and unique data from LA before (e.g., "All six of CNN's 'undecided voters' were Democratic operatives"). Take it for what it's worth, but I believe this person is on target.

Saw a clip from the tape. Reason we can't release it is because statements Obama said to rile audience up during toast. He congratulates Khalidi for his work saying "Israel has no God-given right to occupy Palestine" plus there's been "genocide against the Palestinian people by Israelis."

It would be really controversial if it got out. Tha's why they will not even let a transcript get out.

The L.A. Times admits it has a copy of the video.

Selected facts about the event have already been published by the Times.

So how could there still be any anonymity left to be protected?

Maybe they should force the issue by releasing quotes that are available from the tape.
Then Obama would have to deny the quotes or ask the tapes be released to refute.

What if that was what it was intended for and the LA Times stabbed Hillary in the back? What if they wrote the article mentioning the tape because they fully intended to release it, but then were ‘dissuaded’ from doing so somehow?

I fall back to my position that the person who gave the Slimes the tape HAS TO have either the original, or a copy of their own. I believe that sufficient cash money could obtain that tape.

I have no faith in the Jewish belief in self preservation ,55 years out of the Holocaust and they greet this apologist with pagan fervor.The Israelis seem barely capable of holding their government together and act against a Nuclear and Fatalistic Iran.My brother in Law is Jewish and is alone in voting for McCain in his immediate family , one of his friends is with the press corp for a network and has so drunk the KoolAid that he is DIVORCING his wife because she doesn’t take OBAMA as the “Saviour of the world” .I am not kidding.I have heard it first hand! He told my brother in law this while slathering all over the phone about “That One”.The rest of my brother in laws family either believes Obama is the best for oppressed minorities(to salve their hi-rise condo guilt) or that electing him will make nice with the African Americans so they don’t have to donate so much for their favorite liberal causes ACLU, SOuthern Poverty Center,NAACP, etc.... It causes my brother in law to lose a few more hairs every time he talks to his family about politics.

I'm sorry folks, but at this point in the history of our nation, I just don't think it matters what is on the tape. Our fellow Americans have been manipulated, perhaps willingly so, to a point of a cultish worship of a celebrity. Obama supports, millions and millions of them, just don't care about the truth about this man. Even a McCain victory won't make these people go away. (And by “these people,” I sadly include members of my own family.)

But as I've said before, our nation will recover, and it's up to us to make it happen.

As a journalist myself, this tape should be released.

The media today has to start realizing that the Internet has made this a conversation. We can’t horde things like this to ourselves.

Even if they got the tape on the condition they did not release it, at this point, that needs to be changed. It needs to be released. If you can’t officially release it, leak it.

Likely somebody at Columbia also has a copy themselves since it was done there. Universities normally tape things like this for their personal use.

You know, I seem to recollect that I saw a brief clip of this tape or maybe something like it. Obviously, I did not see it at the LA Times website (which I only visit to give them what-for). That would mean somebody else has it.

Happens pretty often, but the Times should not have agreed to it in a matter like this.

Furthermore, at this point I would break an agreement like that. The right to know outweighs the fact I would be burning a bridge.

Now we know why 0bambi is willing to meet with Mahmoud Ahmadinejad without precondition. They have the same exact views towards Israel! BHO meeting with Ahmadinejad is like any of us meeting with a brother or sister.

Any statement from Barry saying that Iran must not get nuclear weapons is just rhetoric. With BHO as president, Iran will obtain nuclear weapons and any attempt by the Israelis to stop them will receive absolutely no support from 0bomber.

The more I get to "know" Barry, the more he scares me. With BHussein as president we will wake up to world that is more dangerous than during any of our lifetimes.
