As I speculated in a recent article, Obama had a dual purpose in leaving his campaign for Hawaii. And whaddaya know? His plane had barely touched down from his trip to Honolulu - ostensibly to visit his ailing granny - when the Republican governor of the Aloha State, Linda Lingle, placed his birth certificate under seal, directed the state's Department of Health to bar access of the document to the press, and declared that the only people eligible to obtain it were the person born or someone acting on his behalf, a relative, or a legal guardian.
So did Obama request the document, the better to resolve the question of his eligibility to be president? With less than a week to go before the election - and with attorney Philip J. Berg's lawsuit questioning that eligibility on the way to the Supreme Court - we still haven't seen Obama's birth certificate!
The peculiar events of the last week leave more questions than answers.
If Lingle sealed Obama's birth certificate, then there is indeed a record of his birth in Hawaii. But as The Obama Nation author Jerome Corsi writes, there is still no answer about "whether the original document...was a hospital-generated birth certificate or a registration of birth that may have been filed subsequent to the birth." In other words, we still don't know if Obama was born in Hawaii or on foreign soil.

Good, but point being that either way, Obama is not eligible to be President.
Born in Kenya? Not eligible.
Born in Hawaii? Not eligible because of Indonesian laws of no dual citizenship.
Not eligible.
I'm not sure a birth certificate is really necessary. If nothing is uncovered proving he was born someplace else, he'll get the benefit of the doubt.

But bottom line, I don't how different Hawaii's rules are, or if they are quite different, why. But they are what they are, and apparently have been for some time.
It is too bad someone can’t offer one of Obama’s relatives in Kenya a princely sum to request the original birth certificate. He hasn’t exactly shared the wealth with any of them.
But why he is unwilling to disclose his birth certificate is the overall question.
The ONLY reason for sealing a birth certificate is after an ADOPTION and NAME CHANGE....Barry Soetoro unavailable for comment?
I think you should recollect your thoughts and post your idea as a vanity tomorrow morning. I have been saying the exact same thing for weeks and trying to think of the best way to orchestrate this under a simple common united theme.
He is hiding everything that a reasonable person would not hide if they were a U.S. citizen, such as college enrollment tuition (non resident?) etc.

The problem is, there is no protocol. The issue has never come up, only a few candidates were born outside the US, all to two US Citizen parents, and none of them, including John McCain, have hidden the details of their birth.
Thus NO ONE is in charge of verifying eligibility. Although State officials control ballot access, and could establish a requirement for proof of eligibility. But they have not done so.
Traditionally the Chief Justice does the swearing in, but that's not required. LBJ was sworn in by a Federal District Court Judge, Sarah Hughes.. (a Kennedy appointee, who latter went on to run Dallas county jails from the bench, and also was the original judge in Roe Vs. Wade)

It wouldn't do any good, he has "low Friends in High Places" in Kenya. Namely Raila Odinga, the Prime minister, who gained that office after losing a close election. After which his supporters then went on genocidal rampages and he was given that office in exchange for a calling off his dogs. The rampages included burning a church full of parishioners. A total of around 1500 people died in the aftermath of those elections.

Odinga claimed to be a first cousin of Obama. (He claimed, in a recorded statement that his mother was a sister of Obama Sr.) That is disputed by some. Who knows? But both Odinga and B. Obama Sr, are/were of the same Luo tribe.
Providing my birth certificate last year was a twist on a new rule that I can't or won't explain. Not the point. I had to have background checks to keep my job for years. And I'm not running for president. Standards should also apply to Obama. But you know they won't.

That is the most logical and likely reason; one I would bet on.
However, my out-of-the-box theory is that O got caught in a reverse Sandy Burglar operation. If born in Kenya, O desperately needs a US citizen father (Frank Davis).
By sealing (what ever the document is) the Governor has preserved evidence while awaiting for a member of Congress to object to O’s qualification - subsequent to the Electors delivering their certification to the Congress in December.
Last time I looked the law requires proof of citizenship or a green card before you can get a job flipping burgers at Wendy's. Am I missing something here?
