It wouldn't do any good, he has "low Friends in High Places" in Kenya. Namely Raila Odinga, the Prime minister, who gained that office after losing a close election. After which his supporters then went on genocidal rampages and he was given that office in exchange for a calling off his dogs. The rampages included burning a church full of parishioners. A total of around 1500 people died in the aftermath of those elections.

Odinga claimed to be a first cousin of Obama. (He claimed, in a recorded statement that his mother was a sister of Obama Sr.) That is disputed by some. Who knows? But both Odinga and B. Obama Sr, are/were of the same Luo tribe.
