U.S. Rep. Marcy Kaptur (D. Toledo) whipped the crowd up before Mr. Obama took the stage yesterday telling them that America needed a Second Bill of Rights guaranteeing all Americans a job, health care, homes, an education, and a fair playing field for business and farmers.
Whatch out when the government tells you they want to be "fair."

Just like the laws of Hitler and Stalin. They are ready to take over and place us under the dictatorship of the anti-American left wing pig faced Nazi Democrats.

Yeah... they're working on it. Every time I hear someone suggest that a good or service is a "right", I want to ask them: "At whose expense?" Anything created or produced by one person's labor cannot become the property of another except through payment or voluntary exchange for value.
One person's need is not a claim on another's rights.

OBAMAS NEW BILL OF RIGHTS
1) You have the right to remain silent.
2) You have the right to give up all you own.
3) You have the right to the one bullet we place through your skull.
4) Shut up. Sit down. Be dead.

This is very common in the university environment where I work. Many of the people here have ties to Europe. They will invariably reply to me when I ask them where our rights come from, that “The Constitution gives us the rights.”
The idea that the rights were by-and-large given to us by the Creator, as put forth in the Declaration, is totally foreign to them, as is the idea that the Bill of Rights much more tells us the rights that the government cannot take away.
I point out to them that their approach was tried in Europe with the European Constitution. When it got to be up around 700+ pages, with all of the rights (to health care, education, so many hours in a work week, enough vacation days each year etc etc etc) it COLLAPSED OF ITS OWN WEIGHT. They have not had any luck reviving it since then.

Read the communist manifesto.. judge for yourself how most of it has come to fruition.
Past time for McCarthyism to make a strong come back. IMHO

I like the list of goals read in to the record in the House of Representatives in 1963. The mission is almost complete. They took control of the media and the schools. We’re doomed.

Here, let me play “average democrat” in response to this:
“Yes, all of that sounds GREAT! That’s why I support these guys!... what? Socialism?.... No, I don’t support socialism! That’s what they had in the Soviet Union - that’s not what they’re talking about doing.”

What’s ironic is that it was European thought, as expressed in the books and writings that influenced our founders, that lead to this very system. Hell, some still argue we have a democracy, not knowing it’s a republic and why that matters.

I believe that selfishness and materialism have been coded into our culture specifically so these powers could take control. It was all part of the master plan in the 1960s. It worked. They destroyed our value system, take control of the influencing mouth pieces (schools/media), and dumbed down and preoccupied the citizens with nonesense. Mark my words, this country is headed for the Idiocracy as depicted in the Hollyweird movie of the same name. My only hope is that I can find a state to move to that is willing to adhere to the constitution and our founding principles. I don't know of any right now, but I suspect that when things finally hit rock bottom a movement of like minded people will arise and people will migrate somewhere and start fresh.

I also think some of this can be traced to the differences in our legal system (coming down to us from English common law and concepts like “precedent”, jury trials, and the like), as opposed to the continental tradition of the “Napoleonic Code”.
I suspect people who are used to the latter tend to think more in terms of “rights” descending from the government to the people.

Thanks for posting the link (I have yet to figure out how to post a link from this blackberry)
If the rats gain control of all three branch of govt, (super majority) it wouldn't suprise me if they moved the US capitol to San Franfreakshow and replace the US constitution with the the communist manifesto. (whew- I need to learn how to break up those sentences)
