Meanwhile the NRA has endorsed the democrat congressman in my district even though the Republican challenger has a strong anti gun control stance.

Meanwhile the NRA has endorsed the democrat congressman in my district even though the Republican challenger has a strong anti gun control stance. They are an issue organization, not a party organization. If the incumbent has the same rating as the challenger, the NRA goes with the incumbent. It's too bad the prior incumbent was a RINO. That's how I rate self defense. As a former grunt and taxi driver from NYC, I can't disagree.

Is the Dem the incumbent? Maybe he has a strong progun record to run on? After all it really is DEEDS not Words. The challenger can spout progun all he wants but talk is cheap and easy. This just proves the NRA isn't partisan. It's doing the job properly.
