WASHINGTONA week from today, Americans will pick a new president, but a surprising beneficiary may be off the ballot: Mitt Romney.
With polls in key states forecasting a comfortable victory by Sen. Barack Obama and fellow Democrats, Republicans may find themselves booted out of the White House, shoved further into the minority in Congress and marginalized in the powerhouse of Washington.
If Sen. John McCain loses next Tuesday, Romney could be well positioned to rise as a leader of the Republican Party to guide conservatives through a few years in the political wilderness and a favorite for the GOP presidential nomination come 2012.

Why is ANYONE thinking about '12. This is more pure garbage from the MSM... The election's 7 days away... Why can't these stories go away until next Tuesday... There will be no "assuming H wins" bull.
There will be over 3 years to ponder the '12 election.

Jindal-very possible. Palin, never. If she doesn’t get it now, she’ll never be there again, IMHO... And I love her, but she’s effectively been “Gingriched”.

To assist in getting this economy rolling again and for coming up with some type of reforms so this will never happen again. He knows business and knows how to raise capital. And that includes keeping taxes low.

No way, no how! ESPECIALLY if his people have been trying to sabotage Govenor Palin.

Remember those leaks and snide complaints about Governor Palin from "former" Romney people now on the Straight Talk Express? Well, here's their ultimate goal....
In other news...
Is Sarah Palin preparing for 2012?

Bud, I have over 13,000 posts here, spanning over several years... Here's my challenge. Find ANY that are lefty...
Bet you can't do it... I'm just being realistic...
On my drive into the city today, I heard a commercial for the Bergen County Democrats. (Bergen County is one of the most affluent counties in NJ, borders the Hudson and NY)... The voice was a mocking of Palin, the way that Tina Fey did her voice. Made her sound like a buffoon... Honest? Of course not... Effective? Absolutely, IMHO she will be hung around the neck of GOPers around the country, and they don't have the ----- to stick up for her. She would be an albatross.

Those were lies. The MSM trying to divide, based on “unnamed sources”... You tools eat that up, hook, line, and sinker.
