It may not matter if Obama was:
- Born in the USA or
- Born in Kenya
The real issue may be that he:
- left the US
- was adopted by an Indonesian
- was listed as an Indonesian for many years
- was never repatriated as a US Citizen
- never went back through immigration, because if he did, even though he was ‘natural born’, coming back would have made him ‘naturalized’ (Same class of citizen as Arnold S.)
- Michelle Obama is on tape having said no less than three times that people are just out to get her husband because he was ‘adopted’...

IIRC,The Electoral College determines. If they find Obama is not eligible they could still cast their votes anyway they choose (among the eligible candidates).
Many electors COULD switch to McCain. If no clear winner, they could compromise on McCain Biden, or Hillary Biden. Most likely NOT Hillary Pallin.... LOL.
I would think the consensus would have to be among the three on the ballot; so McCain Pallin, or Biden McCain, depending on which party got the most electors for President.????

I don’t think Hillary is likely since she is NOT on the ballot, and there are plenty of Repulican Electors who get to vote on the COMPROMISE.
So McCain Palin or Biden McCain would be a likely compromise of Republican and Democrat electors. After many rounds of voting.
And Obama is eneligible if either he is NOT a Citizen, or is Legaly named Barry Soweto....
Maybe the suspicion serves McCain better than the truth.
In a relatively close race I wonder if enough of the electors of Obama would defect to McCain.
The Republican Governor is obeying State Law. The question should be why Obama hasn’t proved that he is legally-qualified to be President.

It does matter where Obama was born. If he was born in the U.S. then per the 14th Amendment he’s a natural borh U.S. citizen and that cannot be take away from him. Nor can it be given up on his behalf by a parent or a foreign court. Even if he was adopted in Indonesia, he remained a U.S. citizen unless as an adult he intentionaly performed one of the several expatriating acts that showed he wanted to revoke his U.S. citizenship. Examples would be if Obama himself applied for citizenship in a foreign country and he voluntarily renounced any allegiance to the U.S. and stated so before a U.S. counsular official. And it had to be intentional; Obama couldn’t accidentally give it up by accepting a policy position with a foreign government or renewing a foreign passport or something like that.
Governor Lingel--Republican-- is a very good friend of Sarah's....was chosen to introduce her at the convention.
She speaks highly of Sarah.
