HONOLULU, Hawaii – Although the legitimacy of Sen. Barack Obama's birth certificate has become a focus of intense speculation – and even several lawsuits – WND has learned that Hawaii's Gov. Linda Lingle has placed the candidate's birth certificate under seal, and instructed the state's Department of Health to make sure no one in the press obtains access to the original document under any circumstances.

This is what I was thinking. I still think he was born in Kenya but Davis is probably the dad. Yup when Lolo Soetero adopted him he lost his citizenship.

Isn’t a person’s birth certificate automatically off limits to the press? How is this “news”? It sounds as though someone is trying to make something out of Gov. Lingle’s duty to protect private information. How is the birth certificate more protected than it was last year?

I sure hope that Lady has the nerve to protect documents that are so important to the Constitutional integrity of the Republic.

Hale (the guy that stated he got the African BC into the country) mentioned that there was IN HI, a registry of birth filed, but not a birth certificate.

The difference is no Dr. signature, foot prints on a registry. Not born at a hospital as many home births are. The registry was filed several days after his birth...SImply stating that he was born and may have been filed by Stanley Ann upon her return from Africa.

But .. Obama is the owner of it .. HE CAN release it .. so he must be hiding it for some reason.

In hawaii at the time there were LOTS of home births. A lot of times no Doctor either. The parents would then just go in and register the birth and list an address. Pretty lose, but then we are talking about Hawai’i in 1961, not even 5 years after it became a state. A LOT of things are kinda loose in Hawaii. Anyway, you could just go in and register, it wasn't very often that a foreigner would come into the state with this particular issue I would imagine. I am betting its a street address listed as the place of birth, not a Hospital.

The anonymous source made clear the Hawaii Department of Health would immediately release Obama's original birth certificate, provided Obama requested the document be released, but the Department of Heath has received no such request from the senator or from anyone acting officially on his behalf.

Must be something on that BC that Obama does not want anyone to see. Possibilities could be:

Shows his religion as Islam
Parents were not married
Father was someone other than Barrak SR

Whatever it is could be a serious problem if it is determined that the BC he put on his website is a fake or altered document.

The “ruling class” should create a repository for documents they determine to be too important for “the people” to see. Obama’s birth certificate can be filed there, along with Clinton’s medical records, Kerry’s DOD-180, etc.

Even if he wins this election, he is not the President until he is sworn in in January. He can still be dethroned.

Maybe that's what she is waiting for.

If he loses, then it won't be such a problem to expose him later.

If he wins, she'll have to bring it out or be guilty of a Constitutional violation herself (because she knew and tried to hold it.) It will cause one heck of a stick and maybe she's trying to avoid that.
