Remember how I told you last week the National Republican Congressional Committee was abandoning Michele Bachmann?
Well, the conservative blogosphere stood by her and now it seems the NRCC has changed its course! They are actually using HER to raise money now.

The National Republican Congressional Committee (NRCC) is rallying around Rep. Michele Bachmann and using her controversial comments about Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama to rally supporters. The committee on Thursday sent a fundraising e-mail critical of the media’s treatment of the Minnesota Republican, who suggested on MSNBC’s “Hardball” last week that Sen. Obama (D-Ill.) holds “anti-American” views....The NRCC sent a memo Thursday making the case that it was not abandoning candidates like Bachmann when it does not purchase ad time that it has reserved. I'm going to go out on a limb and tell you what I think happened here. I think the NRCC got scared when the liberal blogs went after Bachmann. Figured she could go it alone and then saw the conservative base rally around her. Then the NRCC though, aha! If people are giving HER checks maybe they'll give them to US instead. Hence their new fundraising push.
Moral of the story? Write the checks to the individual candidates you like. Not the party fundraising arm.

YES!!!!!!!!! Now this woman needs to be returned to the House. I hope people are campaigning hard for her up there.
I was praying for her this just this morning....YAY GOD!
What did she say about the Socialist Obama? I wrote her a check a while back and was wondering ... She is a great conservative.
She’s a great lady who deserves to be re-elected.
And I hope everyone at the NRCC and the NRSC is fired after this election. Bachmann is only the latest pol that the national committees have given up on, only to come back when we put them in a headlock and tell them to go back and fight for them.

I would hope so, If you see the tape of Matthews interviewing her, she never said anything about Dems being Anti-American...he infered it and tried to get her to say it....he kep at her...she never gave in. He was so sneaky trying to corner her...she thought about it and you could tell there was a delay....but she never said it!!!!

Seems the true conservatives of the party are turning out to be our women. We need more like Bachman and Marsha Blackburn(Tennessee), and of course Sarah Palin
When are these weenies at the NRCC and NRSC going to grow a pair of BALLS and stand up against these pantywaist msm types and fight for crying out loud?
Oh, I forgot. They are precisely the problem because they are just as much a part of the champaign and brie crowd that we REAL AMERICANS can’t stand and wouldn’t tolerate in our own neighborhoods.
Yeah, they also ought to support Marilyn Musgrave, too.
