I think it’s because the comments on the DRAFT, CNS and Obama’s plan are scattered throughout the campaign, but NOT one complete speech on it, so it leave Obama open to say that’s not what I meant...etc...it’s what he said, but putting it together was hard for those of us paying attention.
The economy, and stock market tanking created a diversion and so many issues covered this issue from getting out, until Biden gaffed on the crisis in next six mo of Obama victory.

As far as the hero worship and all the magazine covers, I have to wonder if people aren’t getting a little sick of him. He’s been running for 2 years now. No longer a fresh face. But it is all this media bias and unreasonable adulation that will make me cheer and howl if he is defeated.
