This is indeed a conservative board. That does not mean, however, that we just jump on the bandwagon and run with every story that fits our template. We put things under a microscope and discuss and watch and wait. I haven't run across any posts (and granted, I haven't read them ALL.) that violate a healthy scepticism. We are, most definitely, letting the story unfold.
But the molotov coctail thrown at a McCain sign outside a private residence has already been confirmed so I don't hesitate to say that when thugs urger their supporters to " get in your neighbors faces" some folks do just that.
True. You shoot to center mass. And certainly killing neutralizes. But that’s not what the other poster stated.

Some other drive-by artist came out and called me a TROLL straight-up just before your post. So, if it seemed that I was inferring that you were dismissing everything I had to say on the grounds that you assumed I wasn’t a doctor, well, yeah. You’re right. Now, if you have an issue with my conclusions and observations, I’d love to hear it.

I had a fall which battered my left side of my head and eye.
I had bruises and around the temple and a pretty black eye, but I didn’t swell and my eye wasn’t reddened. I was given ice and torado in the er which is very good anti-inflammatory anti swelling type med hence its effective ness as a pain killer. I used advil for about 24 hours afterward.
In short it varies as to who swells and who doesn’t and what sort of trauma and veins were hit...ect. I’ve been an RN for 22 years and in the icu for 9 years of that and folks don’t always react what you think they would. I’ve seen falls with little bruising by they were all busted up inside. I’ve seen ugly ecchymosis related to trauma with massive swelling but folks walked out the next day.
A woman facing a knife might have been a bit more compliant in laying down for the perpetrator...on the other hand to take the time to carve a B shows a bit more pre-planning, premediitation then a quick robbery. Somebody had to have had some type of pre-attack mutilation fantasies or this young lady is doing a Juanita Smith black man smear! If such a perp is on the loose, they need to get this guy pronto!

That story has been completely dispelled. No one in the audience but the original commenter heard the supposed remark. No validity at all.
Well, I guess we’ll see what the investigation and medical report says. I’ve now read and heard no less than three different versions of this story, so I’m not sure which one of them is supposed to “appear to check out.”

Agreed, this is what makes us better, and more credible than Kos or DUmmies.

I’m seriously doubting her account - but there is the possibility that the cut was made from above with a car key or something like that. I can’t believe it was a knife. It’s just a regular scratch, but now that I have seen the photo in reverse, I could imagine a right-handed person doing that fairly quickly with a key or ball point pen or something else without a blade.
In any case, I agree. It could be anything, and we need to be careful and not look like idiots.
My first instinct when seeing the story on Drudge was that it was fake. Maybe an overzealous Mccain supporter? I guess we’ll see. It’s just not passing my smell test right now.
If it is true, then she has my sympathies.
