PITTSBURGH -- A 20-year-old woman who was robbed at an ATM in Bloomfield was also maimed by her attacker, police said.
Pittsburgh police spokeswoman Diane Richard tells Channel 4 Action News that the victim was robbed at knifepoint on Wednesday night outside of a Citizens Bank near Liberty Avenue and Pearl Street just before 9 p.m.
Richard said the robber took $60 from the woman, then became angry when he saw a McCain bumper sticker on the victim's car. The attacker then punched and kicked the victim, before using the knife to scratch the letter "B" into her face, Richard said.
Richard said the woman refused medical treatment after the assault, which happened outside the view of the bank's surveillance cameras.
The robber is described as a dark-skinned black man, 6 feet 4 inches tall, 200 pounds with a medium build, short black hair and brown eyes. The man was wearing dark colored jeans, a black undershirt and black shoes.
She will need a Tetanus shot for the scratch (if she’s not up-to-date).
I read in another report that she drove to a friend’s house and called the police. Then they took her back to find the ATM machine as she was not familiar with the area. It was reported that she got medical attention today. And that Sarah and Mac called her. Both McCain and Barry’s campaigns issued statements, too.

Which would indicate the B is indeed backwards and not a flipped picture.
Not all McCain voters are as tough as you are. For many, it’s better to vote early than to get cold feet at the last minute because of any violence that may take place. I don’t think that most McCain voters are willing to fight it out with black rioters. Besides, even if you have a license, you’d better not be caught packing heat in a voting center.

I'm not a racist but I am a realist. White people, by and large, fear black people for good reason. Like it, or not, white people are certainly NOT safe in majority black neighborhoods. I'd rather be called "racist" and not enter those neighborhoods than to be harmed or die in one.
I grew up in housing projects so I have "real world" experience with this. I was beaten on several occasions for being white and on the wrong block. I was also babysat by several black families with whom I am still in touch with and love dearly.
This is a cultural problem, not necessarily a race/genetic problem. But it exists and it is not good for the ignorant innocent when we try to pretend it doesn't. It harms black people as well.

She survived the attack and that would be good enough for me too.
Obviously the wound by the knife on her face was not bad enough to warrant a hospital visit and unless you are completely pummeled from your assault you generally don’t have to go to the hospital for that either.

In the case of “hoax attacks”, the “victim” is usually jumping in front of the cameras and seeking publicity afterwards.
The fact that this woman did not, is telling.

Depends on where you live...my concealed carry permits me to carry in restaurants and polling places...the only place I don't carry is church as I feel it isn't necessary.
