I’m sitting here in tears over this report. Being 73 yrs old I just shake my head in horror over the changes in this country. No matter how this election turns out I forsee much danger to we McCain supporters....I keep seeing that picture of the lady who works for Acorn shouting “what do we want”...in her words anything they do is done in the name of justice.
I had to take down my McCain sign because I saw a car pull up at my house...write down my address...back up and write down the address of the lady across the street and then speed off. We were the only two on my block with McCain signs....to make it worse I was standing outside with my dog and he gave me that eye as if to dare me to say something to him....I admit to being intimidated and I took my sign down...
God help us all.........

Granny, you NEED to email this to Rush, Hannity, O’Reilly and the McCain campaign. They need to have documentation of this, and you need to have proof BEFORE something happens. So sorry you feel intimidated. It’s despicable what this country is becoming...

Having a shotgun on you at the time helps. Oh, hindsight...

But personally, I will have my guns at the ready for election day. There's no telling what will happen when Obama loses, but if you're not ready and capable of defending yourself against a rioting horde it's probably better not to be on their list.

My husband caught a woman with an Obama bumper sticker on her car doing the same thing in our neighborhood on Sunday. He got in his car to follow her and got her license plate number. She was stopping only in front of house with a McCain sign in their there yard and then appeared to be writing something down....we're guessing she was taking addresses.

God bless you and keep you safe, granny. I totally empathize with your pain and your fear. Do whatever you need to do to feel safe and don’t feel ashamed about it. If that means taking down your sign, then do it without embarassment. Don’t allow anyone, even well-intentioned FReepers, to question whatever you need to do to feel safer. These are, indeed, very perilous times. You’ve been added to my prayers.

THIS is why the polls are wrong:

"I’m sitting here in tears over this report. Being 73 yrs old I just shake my head in horror over the changes in this country........

Now, how many people feel intimidation when the "poller" calls (how do you know who they REALLY are?)? It only takes a few intimidated respondents to throw the whole poll in the dumpster.

Notice that the polls that PUSH the respondents* to decide (and thus have few "undecideds") are where Obama has his big numbers. The less they push the respondent, the more Obama's numbers drop off...quickly.

"Undecided" is a way of saying "please don't mess with me." Registered Democrats wanting to vote McCain would feel the greatest pressure on this.

Another factor is the steady drumbeat of the media telling the viewer over and over that Obama is so cool and McCain is so lame. This adds to the unwillingness of SOME (and that's all it takes) pro-McCain respondents to level with the poller. *When voters say "undecided" , some pollsters will push them to decide; "If you HAD to decide TODAY..."

Just lay low and don't watch the news 24/7 cuz you'll just get frustrated. It might be a good idea for people to buy police scanners. Police scanners don't lie. Besides, Barack Obama may be paying outside agitators and they might be going to targeted areas. If you need to go out, find a friend to go w/you.

Cheer for this young woman when she is on tv and the radio. She's courageous and not seeking medical attention. She imo wants the nation to see what Bambi's mob is capable of. I'm not calling them voters any more. They are a mob raised on Ayers and Rev. Wright's propagand (and Farrakhan's).

Ping to post # 68

Another indication of the thuggishness of the Obama Campaign. This poor, poor woman, and I am not talking about the thread article victim

Is this fascism?

I believe it is.

And it IS a program.

And it has been engaged as Obama is in Hawaii alibi land. ( My campaign planned this without my knowledge, its McCain's negative ads that are to blame.)
