Most of my favorites get old after numerous reruns, and some of the longer running ones had entirely bad seasons.

I could watch Seinfeld because I haven't in so long. Friends is good to watch, but sometimes annoying. I'm not as much into "Everybody Loves Raymond" as the rest of the family -- possibly because I have lived that show (except a couple of roles are reversed).

British comedies: Black Adder is great but there are only 24 episodes (although I've heard that there's a fifth series made). Coupling is funny, but again there are so few episodes per season.

Currently, I don't watch any. Are there any on now? That are supposed to be funny? My son has recently started watching George Lopez reruns and sometimes Home Improvement. They're all new to him -- and some to me.

Andy Griffith

I Love Lucy

Fraiser (simply because they made fun of elites in a very unapologetic way)

"Yes, Minister" and "Yes, Prime Minister".

They starred Nigel Hawthorne, Paul Eddington and Derek Fowlds, and were produced between 1979 and 1984. They were Margaret Thatcher's favorite TV series, and during broadcast time everything stopped in the UK because people were watching.

The writing by Lynn and Jay is of the level of Restoration Comedy. Even today on DVD, the shows are still just as hilarious.

They just don't make them like this in America.

Wooo... This is a tough one... Favorite “Sit-Coms.”

I’m sure I’ll be leaving a bunch out but...

Mad About You (especially the first few seasons)
Wings
Cheers
Night Court
Frasier
The Cosby Show (Wow, this looks like NBC’s Thursday night lineup from many years ago)

While not sit-coms

The Tonight Show with Johnny Carson
The Red Skelton Show
The Jack Benny Show (TV and radio shows)

probably my very favorite of all time....

The Carol Burnette Show

Mark
