I live in NC and there is NO WAY that Obama is going to come close to winning this state. That is one way that I know a lot of these polls are bogus. We are about to elect only the third Republican governor in 100 years. NC is not going to go for the most liberal candidate ever to have run for the office of POTUS and elect Pat McCrory governor - especially when his opponent is the golden-girl Beverly Perdue. Even though Obama won our Democratic primary, Perdue made a big mistake aligning herself with Obama early on when the more logical candidate for her to support would have been Hillary.

I suggest you (and everyone else who keeps shouting that NC and VA could never vote for Obama) check out this morning’s article from The Washington Times (the _conservative_ paper, not the Washington ComPost):
