After Pearl Harbor, it looked like Japan had control of the Pacific. When North Korea invaded SK, it looked like SK would fall immediately. When Hitler blitzed France, it looked like he was unstoppable. Heck, back during the Revolution, it looked as though the Brits could never be defeated. And when Robert E. Lee was invading the North and almost reached DC, it looked like the North had lost.
Then we had Gettysburg, Midway, Washington crossing the Deleware, Greene crossing the Dan River, and other moments which turned conventional wisdom on its head.

People are getting involved like never before... they are fed up and one of the biggest issues is TAXES!
That’s really good to hear about So Cal. I’m not even ready to predict a GOP CA victory, but improved numbers there for McCain/Palin may help deliver CA-11 and perhaps even some other House seats. Go California!!

The word really seems to be that Obama’s in trouble in PA. Since Ohio runs about 5 points to the right of PA, I can understand why they’re psyched up. :-) If Obama loses PA, chances are good he’ll lose WI. And maybe MN, IA and MI!!
I’m hoping for the House too.
A healthy showing against the ONE wouldn’t be too bad either!
