Ayers won’t be the Sec of Education. Obama isn’t that stupid to nominate a guy who “lived in his neighborhood” and “ghost wrote Dreams of my Father”
Anybody who doesn’t think Bill Ayers is AT LEAST going to be Secy of Ed is crazy. You’ll see not only Ayers, but probably his wife, the awful Bernardine Dohrn, and a number of other radical blasts from the past (such as Angela Davis) and some of our most awful modern rabble rousers (Al Sharpton, Farrakhan, and Jesse Jackson) holding important and probably even Cabinet level positions.

Secretary of Housing & Urban Development — Tony Rezko

Ayers won’t get much public recognition. But what’s to keep Obama from talking with him in secret?
They should reinvestigate this man and his wife and throw their you know whats in jail to rot for the rest of their lives.

If something as crazy and unsavory as Obama gets elected, I doubt that there’d be anything horrible enough to constitute grounds for impeachment. I think we’re plain out of luck if he gets elected.
Actually, I think Ayers will get a publicly visible post. After all, the election will be over and he can’t do any damage to Obama that way. And Ayers himself is totally comfortable with everything he’s ever done - as, apparently, are the media and other politicians. Nobody seems to think his opinions of the US or his actions are particularly a problem. When people here ask why the Ayers connection isn’t making more of an impact, it’s simply because most other people think it’s just fine that he plotted to overthrow the US government, and that he still wants to overthrow the US government and political-economic system.
