Prayers for his Grandmother. She is gravely ill and if the situation is like it was when my mother died, I pray for her heart and soul.

Dysfunctional families turnout varied kinds of dysfunctional people. I commonly refer to myself as an adult-child, one who has failed to learn how to be a true adult. I often fake adulthood the best I can, but at the end of the day my childhood hurts are apparent.

My younger brother though was a true narcissist. When my mother died we knew he would showup on the scene for his own benefit. When dad died he showed up with beer and lobster to ‘celebrate.’ He was never there to deal with the issues of their health needs, but only came to claim.

My dysfunctional radar piqued on this story. Pray for Grandma. It is the right thing to do. She needs our prayers. I know how much my mother's heart hurt over her son, but her heartsick pain didn't/couldn't change him.

"She tried to eat her pillow three times last month, and fell down the stairs twice-I'm just glad she's OK, and I want to see her one last,uh I mean, see her again"....

I was also thinking that maybe he is using the Hawaii trip to leave the country for any number of reasons.

Lets all keep up the pressure to have Obama publicly state and prove he is a US citizen! If he can't sing the tune, get off the stage!

“”Along with his mother and his grandfather, she raised him in Hawaii from the time he was born until the moment he left for college.”

Say what? What about all those years he spent with his step father in Indonesia?

This story just keeps changing doesn’t it?

Will the real Barak Obama please stand up!

SO he didn’t think that doing his job and dealing with the financial crisis was important enough to “suspend his campaign”, and chastised McCain for doing so, but he DOES think that visiting his sick Grandmother is a good reason to “suspend his campaign”.

“”You have to work really hard to violate Gov. Palin’s standards on negative campaigning,” Obama said.”

Pretty harsh slam to make while crying about cheap shots. Good grief.
