One nasty little secret socialists like Obama don't want people to know is that corporate income taxes are embedded at each stage of production as a cost and are passed onto the consumer in the form of higher prices.
Eliminate federal income taxes and those embedded value added taxes will go away. The solution is currently before Congress known as The Fair Tax Act that will replace federal income taxes with a national sales tax and abolish the increasingly oppressive IRS. There will be only one tax, at the register, and will be itemized for everyone to see. No more hidden taxes. Fair Tax ping!

I think Senator Obama forgets that in our modern communications world,
ANYTHING said on audio or video or written down can get distributed around the world in a blink of an eye, thanks to the public Internet. He won't realize what he just said until a McCain-Palin ad shows up on TV in a day or so--ouch!
By the way, this is all the more reason why I support the FairTax--it stops the use of the Federal tax code as social engineering.

The Fair Tax will not have a prayer until Palin cleans out DC and we get the country back to the concept of limited gov’t.
The Fair Tax puts way to much power into the hands of the people and out of the hands of DC.

At least consumers from overseas will pay some taxes if “corporate income taxes are embedded at each stage of production as a cost and are passed onto the consumer in the form of higher prices.” Passing on the cost of keeping the world safe is legitimate and not only US taxpayers should pay.
