Unfortunately, it shows that for Colin Powell and millions of others, race trumps all.
I could not have imagined someone with Powell’s military record able to endorse a far-left anti-military liar and fraud who tried his best to LOSE a war, who publicly derided a distinguished American General who was in the midst of WINNING a great and difficult struggle.
Yet, Powell has endorsed Obama and is trying to tip the election to him with this late-in-the-game timing. Unreal.
My Daddy, who knew Colin Powell back in the day, said that he was a closet racist then and by endorsing Obama has come out of that closet.
I so admired him back in the day, but Daddy said he covertly showed racism and everyone treated him with deference and kid gloves.
It’s sad, too, because Obama has NO ties to Black Americans. He’s Arab first by virtue of his names. He’s only black in skin color. MLK, Jr, would whole-heartedly disapprove of Obama. It wouldn’t surprise me if MLK, Jr, would have admonished Black Americans to shut their eyes and listen to what Obama says instead of looking at him and only seeing “the color black.”
