ABC News' Matthew Jaffe Reports: As Election Day looms just over two weeks away, Sen. Joe Biden, D-Del., said Saturday that with Republicans firing "vicious" and "dangerous" attacks at Sen. Barack Obama, D-Ill., voters are "having a difficult time" opting for the man who would become the nation's first African American president.
"Undecided people are having a difficult time just culturally making the change, making the move for the first African American president in the history of the United States of America," the Democratic vice-presidential nominee said at a San Francisco fundraiser Saturday evening. "So we need to respond. We need to respond at the moment, immediately, not wait, not hang around, not assume any of this won't stick."
"You see these vicious attacks on Barack's character," Biden told supporters. "I mean, this is dangerous stuff these guys are doing. This stuff is on the edge. It's on the edge. You know, there's some folks out there in the community nationwide that aren't as stable as others. It's a very small minority. But having these rallies where people are showing up saying, you know, the things they're saying - I don't even want to repeat them -- it's not a healthy thing."

I don’t think the “followers” are voting for BECAUSE he’s black. (The blacks are.) They’re voting for him because he’s a socialist and that’s why I’m not voting for him.

I saw Newsweek at Borders yesterday with a big picture of Obama’s face and the title said: “Will Economics Trump Race?”
It’s presumed by them that the only reason that Obama wouldn’t get elected is race.
It makes you not a Marxist, which is a problem with Barack Obama.

I think there are more unstable liberals out there than there are conservatives. Let’s see. Who shot Reagan? He sure wasn’t a conservative. Who shot Wallace? A liberal. Who shot Kennedy? A Marxist. I’d be more concerned about the hate being stirred up against Palin. I trust God will protect her. I’m not saying that prayer for anyone else.
I am so absolutely disgusted with the race card I could vomit. If Obama and McCain were otherwise perfectly identical, and some chose to not vote for Obama because of the color of his skin only - then yes, that would be a sign of racism.
But to call anyone not decided a racist... is absolutely disgusting. The fact that they are undecided could mean just the opposite (although I know of some Blacks who are undecided if they are going to throw away their long-held religious and moral beliefs to vote for one of their “brothers”...)
Independents are dripping back to McCain if he gets them this week it doesn’t look that good for dems.
I think Obama has given up on PA. That’s why they are trying to get states like NC and VA to make up the difference.
But if Obama does get by. Republicans have no one to blame but themselves because many voted for Obama in the primaries thinking he’s the “weaker” candidate. Hillary may be polarizing but at least she loves America.
I won’t vote for Obama. I wouldn’t vote for Watts. I wouldn’t vote for Powell. Guess I am a racist. No, I’m not ‘cause I’d vote for Steel or Keyes.
