6 Ala. counties' voter rolls exceed population (Stealing Red State Alert)

Six Alabama counties have more enrolled voters than people of voting age

MONTGOMERY - Six Alabama counties have more people on their voting rolls than they do people of voting age, according to voter registration numbers and U.S. Census Bureau estimates.

The curious statistic could be the result of a surge in new registrations added to voter rolls that have not been purged of people who moved, said local election officials. But the state's top elections chief said Thursday she's concerned that bloated rolls could leave opportunity for Election Day fraud.

"I can't say it's impossible that 100 percent of adults in five or six counties are registered to vote. But it is improbable," Secretary of State Beth Chapman said.

See my post #20.

I had not heard that about Birmingham. Now that got my attention a little bit. If true, Artur Davis can spend the next 40 years in Congress.

I think that probably one of the easiest ways to deter a lot of voter fraud, AND after hours ballot box stuffing is to put a security video camera OUTSIDE each and every polling place where Acorn has been active, so that at the end of the day, there will be a physical record of the actual number of people who voted. People who wish to show up more than once may have second thoughts about coming back OR going to a different poll if they know they are being taped at both locations. Any official who would object to this is clearly in on it.

Also, I’m curious... Who has authority at the state level to declare a particular precinct or counties results as fraudulent? What happens to that precinct or counties votes? are they all thrown out? (They should be) And, if evidence is made known to federal officials about statewide fraud, who has the authority to declare a particular state’s results fraudulent? Does the whole state lose it’s electoral delegation? Who makes those calls?

Yet despite all this, let me make an easy prediction:

McCain will win Alabama. Latest poll had it no where close enough for fraud to be a factor. Still, it is just wrong and needs fixin.

Last Alabama poll:

SurveyUSA 10/08 - 10/09 McCain: 62, Obama: 35 (McCain +27)

Dear enemedia and Secretaries of State,

Report who the fraudulent votes are for! NOW!!

And DON'T give us this, "Privacy," crap. If they're illegal, they don't get that right!

I also read Montgomery registered 10,000 new voters. I’d like to see what Mobile did.

It might be time to delay this election until the voter rolls can be cleaned up.

Since nationwide the rate of voter registration is around 2/3, that’s a rather huge increment to get over 100%..... of course Demagogue cities like Philly have specialized in this for many years.

Amen. Delay the election(AND ONLY THE ELECTION) for 30 days so everyone can re-register. Every voter roll in the country should be purged and every swingin thing that wants to vote should find some time in 30 days to haul their fat ass down to the clerks office to show some damn ID. Military overseas excluded. But sadly, there is no leadership in this country that will come even remotely close to thinking about this.

Will Hussein and his nut job pals try to steal ALABAMA, too?!

I have the dreaded feeling the votes are already in the ballot boxes, folks: dead voters, pets, double voters, felons, et. al.

Hussein is taking it with no impunity...and he will, with Democrat lackeys, set up a much MUCH more socialist/pacifist state than we have now.

You’re forgetting Madison County (Huntsville) also. Especially North Huntsville and the Alabama A&M area.

I wonder how many “little” towns all across America, and specifically in “red” states have been experiencing mysterious electrical outages, brownouts, since early voting began yesterday.

I was just being obnoxious. I’m afraid it would be “unconstitutional.”

Well, it was worth a desperate question. I mean if there's just cause I thought it might be worth at least finding out if there's a possibility. Afraid I didn't know it was unconstitutional. Thanks.

I’m of the belief that thousands of court cases will be tossed into the system in 2009...in virtually every state. Several thousand folks will find themselves in a court room for double-voting or false registrations. They will spend thousands of their money or the public defender money....to save themselves from jail. I think in most cases...the county DA will simply agree to a 30-day deal in jail...just to end the case and save money.

What will be curious is the behavior of congress. Will they try to fix this or just overlook it? If they overlook it...I’d say that 2012 promises to be a really negative election.
