McCain, Palin causing "anxiety, grave fear": Kansas City attorney's federal lawuist
Kansas City Star ^ | 10/15/2008 | Mark Morris

A Kansas City lawyer and supporter of Barack Obama for president has filed suit in federal court, alleging that the Republican ticket has incited violence against the Democratic nominee.

In her suit against Sen. John McCain, Gov. Sarah Palin and campaign manager Rick Davis, Mary Kay Green said she has been injured by their campaign tactics and suffers “terror of the heart, anxiety and grave fear” for Obama’s life.

Green, an occasional contributor of letters to the editor for The Kansas City Star on legal and political issues, said the GOP campaign has used false hate speech to work their supporters into a frenzy, leading to death threats against Obama.

In an interview, Green said she worked as a young woman in the presidential campaigns of both John and Robert Kennedy in Nebraska. Though she has asked for $6 million in damages, Green said the money is not important. The suit is a moral plea to the Republicans to temper their language, she said.

“I will not tolerate another assassination,” Green said. “I have an obligation as an attorney to speak out and use my voice to say to John McCain and Sarah Palin that you must stop this behavior. You are participating in these death threats and have lost all protection from the First Amendment.”

The suit, Green filed Tuesday, has been assigned to a federal court mediation program for resolution.

‘Can I file a lawsuit too? Because I’m deathly afraid. I’m afraid for the security of my loved ones. I’m afraid of losing my country to a marxist fraud.”

This is where the system breaks down. Who can live in a society where everyone is attacking everyone else? The courts become the government. This is not good. She's nuts and these kinds of frivolous suits really hurt society. But... I'll bet she's found a judge that will allow the case to move forward...

“I wonder if I can file a restraining order to keep Obama out of my state because he frightens me.”

First you'll need to find a judge that isn't a leftist!

No, there won’t be arrests. 0bama will institute legal fascism. Instead of arresting people with armies of cops, he will send out armies of lawyers to sue everyone. The choice is to be made destitute through the legal system, or be intimidated into silence. His judges will make sure of the verdicts in a rigged kangaroo court system.

Judge shopping in the Federal system is hard but not unheard of.

It will be a great day when it becomes open season on lawyers.

All it takes is a change in the rules.

“I will not tolerate another assassination,” Green said.

Ironic that she is fearful of BHO getting whacked, when the last assassination was committed by a Marxist named LHO.

Unfortunately, all the defendants must answer this complaint, wasting money and time.

She should be disbarred.

What a disgrace to the legal profession.

It’s people like this that make me ashamed to be living in Kansas City. These are the types of people I deal with every day of my life.

God save us.

Remember, there are many lawyers who are good folks, fighting on the other side of these crazy plaintiffs’ lawyer types.

“I will not tolerate another assassination,” Green said.

Reminds me of one late evening several weeks ago, feeling down, coming across an item of the Dems/MSM calling for DNA testing of Sara Paulin’s son Trig. So absurd (and disgusting as it really was) I broke into a hearty laugh and slept very well that night!

The Democrats are afraid that they have gone too far. They are worried that Obama and the Democrats won’t be able to hold things together if they win, not without using extreme tactics. They are setting the stage to invoke the fairness doctrine.
