I agree with you that we need to pressure the RNC to get attorneys in every state to file on behalf of the residents of that state a suit asking for production for the documents verifying Obama’s legal status and citizenship.
RNC are you listening! We need to get some legal action going.
Anything other than an electoral victory for the GOP is going to work against us. Your heart is in the right place, but what we need is for McCain/Palin to simply defeat Obama in the voting booth.
Don’t martyr Obama. If McCain were to gain office via an Obama disqualification, it would be forever said that McCain could not have won the election. We can’t have that.
At first, I saw this issue as a distraction. I thought it would lead to us being labeled as cooks and a group of conspiratorial ultra right wing neocon bushbots.
Truth is, is has merit. Strong merit.
I know my State Senator, who is a black dem. He’s not a rabid, hating kind of guy. He’s a conservative dem. I told him he should get behind this cause. I reminded him that we are a very red State and the back lash could sink his hopes for a future in politics. And he has high hopes.
I encouraged him to use his contacts with those in the legal profession and get a surrogate to file, as well. If it turns out to be false, then no harm, no foul. But, if it’s true, and no dems were on the winning side, 0bama will have ruined the efforts and progress that blacks have achieved.
He wasn’t very receptive, nor was he dismissive of the idea, but did say he would discuss it with those he trusted.
My initial thinking was that a suit is needed in a conservative jurisdiction. Now I am leaning your way but need to give it more thought.
I think you may be correct that the only way to bring the issue to a head is to file dozens of suits.

Yes....but I’m not a lawyer. If there is a single ruling against Obama in ONE state, it will trigger this issue FINALLY being addressed.
Today is the day that Obama has to produce his proof of citizenship in the case Berg vs Obama.
I am waiting on pins and needles.

You can’t just go around filing lawsuits, its not free. Unless you’re proceeding pro se and meet some special requirements where they waive the fee. It may cost as high as $84.00 in some state courts. Federal Court filings are usually more expensive and may be as high $350.00. Its best to have an attorney but the courts do allow people to represent themselves pro se. Complaints may be accompanied by an application to proceed in forma pauperis, meaning that the plaintiff is incapable of paying the filing fee.

Every single Freeper needs to be Pinged towards this goal.
We must publicly raise the question of his eligibility.
Every step and attempt to keep him off the ballot in every single county needs to be pursued. Every Supervisor of Elections needs to be contacted and made aware of Berg’s lawsuit and challenged to remove the name of BHO from the ballot.
I bet many of them are unaware that a Presidential candidate is facing a potential disqualification based on his inability to provide proof of eligibility.
The media has hushed it up and the election offices need to receive updated information on the lawsuit. He can not legally run for office with an assumed name of BHO if his name is legally Barry Soetoro or Dunham. Who knows?
Questions regarding his eligibilty need to be phoned into to every local radio station and articles emailed to every paper, discussion board and blog. Force this man to prove who he really is and where he is from. Radio stations in Toledo(FOX), NY(ABC), and San Diego( Roger Hedgecock) have run with it.
Is there one published photograph of the man known as Barack as an infant in any setting? In Hawaii? With his father? With his mother? With his grandparents? Why has his campaign not capitalized on the publicity of a cute kid in family photos in Hawaii? When did the child become Barry Soetoro and the man become BHO? Force the electorate to ask the question, who is he?
