The rumors are swirling, but I never heard them. The first I heard of them was in this pre-emptive defense calling them smears. Larry Johnson is talking this up, but he isn’t the most realiable source…however when Jammie Wearin Fool has info and predicts this will be a scoop I listen.

The woman was purportedly sidelined from her duties after Senator Obama’s wife, Michelle, became convinced that he had developed a personal friendship with her. The allegations were initially circulated in August, just two weeks before the convention at which Obama finally beat his opponent for the Democratic Party nomination, Hillary Clinton.
The woman, now 33, vigorously denies the vicious and unsubstantiated gossip.
And some Washington insiders suggested that she was the victim of an 11th-hour attempt to smear Obama by die-hard Hillary supporters.
But now the rumours have resurfaced, suggesting that they may be coming from elements in the Republican Party.

To Democrats this sort of an affair is not only a badge of honor for “O”, but enhances their idolization of the man.
She (Vera Baker) will be revered.
It’s also IMO a RAT initiated story to blow off the business about the “O”, Crack Cocaine, and the Homosexual in the back of the Limo story.
There's another big twist too, which I can't say anything about. I wouldn't even hint about it, really, even if permitted to, because it's so delicious it makes it nearly fantastical -- in the sense of "No one gets this lucky!" -- and actually would be used to denigrate the rest of it. But there is a chance it gets more interesting than even the Chicago Machine connection.

i’ve been doing a little looking online and found that she was part of “Cape Carribean LLC” which the website has been taken down already and can’t even view cached version. I did find a screen capture of one of the sites pages before it was pulled. It can be seen here:

This is the same group who thinks Patrick Fitzgerald is about to frog-march Obama out of the senate in handcuffs any day now, courtesy of Tony Rezko, who is being held captive somewhere, and no doubt having his toenails pulled by one by one...

It sounds to me that Michelle was on the warpath, and this woman declined to deny that Michelle accused her of having an affair with Obambi.
Even with a blurred face, Vera looks a whole lot better than Michelle.
