Both Campaigns in 2004 agreed that Chillicothe ohio was the bellwether community in Ohio. As Ohio goes so goes the presidency and as Chillicothe goes so goes Ohio.

That is what both Bush and Kerry campaigns said in 2004. This year the Columbus Dispatch said the same thing about this year.

This morning Obama held a rally in Chillicothe Ohio.

Click here for the tator take on the Obama rally today in Chillicothe, Ohio.

Thanks for your report, Tater.

This is the most amazing election I’ve ever seen. But not by much.

As Ohio goes so goes the presidency and as Chillicothe goes so goes Ohio.

Whatever. Ohio was NEVER in play 2004, nor was Florida. But thats all we heard about. Bush won both handily. This continued perpetuating of the Ohio myth is distracting, and it takes our eyes of the ball..

If he's not doing well in OH, then its safe to say he's not doing well in PA and in MN and WI. Obama needs to keep all the states Kerry won in 2004. Plus flip NM, CO and NV to win the presidency. I don't really get that stat about white male voters. No way the majority of white men will go Democratic this year when they haven't for a long time. The MSM/Drivebys have created the impression Obama will win the election in a cakewalk. What the campaigns are doing and where the candidates are at tell a different and far more instructive story about the election.

The bloom is off the rose for “That One” if he was drawing Palin like crowds you would see it all it’s glory 24/7 on TV.

Democrats will abandon Obama in droves on election day, I’ve been saying that from the beginning. Even the cooked polls can’t hide that fact, many lifelong dems will stay home too.

I looked for parking spots. There were tons of empty parking spaces during the Obama speech within 2 city blocks of where he was speaking
Well duh. Everyone knows Democrats all only use public transportation.

Thanks for the encouraging report.

Ray, good to see you in action.

I saw a news piece on a major network---don't remember which---about three weeks ago from Southeast OH. Don't recall if the guy was in Portsmouth, or where, but he glumly noted that he was spending most of his time still explaining that Obama wasn't a "muslim." Now, that says it all. If they are still having to do that in Sept./Oct., no way Obama wins SE OH.

Thanks for your report. That helps put it into perspective.

That’s a great report. One other helpful thing about dems not liking Obama, it will be harder to play games at the polls, if not everyone is in the tank for him.
