"Tonight we talked to someone who works in the federal courts here in Chicago." Sounds credible.

I hope it is true and if so, what goes around comes around. Could not happen to a better group of lousy human beings.

I don’t want to jinx it, but would this be the “October surprise”?
And that announcement McCain is supposed to have tomorrow?
ACORN should’ve been busted with RICO 15+ years ago, but I suppose now is worlds better than 6 months from now.

How many times in my life have I gone to bed thinking a Democrat might get what was coming to him on the morrow. Well, there could
be a first time I guess.

LOL. Lots of Rumors floating around. I do wonder if BO is the Titanic. Rumored to be unsinkable, until one of these icebergs breaches his hull.

From Wikipedia
“On July 18, 2005, Fitzgerald’s office indicted a number of top aides to Democrat Richard M. Daley, the mayor of Chicago, on charges of mail fraud, alleging numerous instances of corruption in hiring practices at City Hall. Fitzgerald is also investigating the administration of current Illinois Governor Rod Blagojevich. An investigation announced on December 30, 2005 will review contracts between the Illinois State Toll Highway Authority and vendors who signed leases to occupy the recently remodeled Illinois Tollway oases. Fitzgerald’s office is investigating possible conflicts of interest between these vendors and one of Blagojevich’s top fundraisers, Antoin Rezko.”

I would hate to see them overplay their hand. When Republicans do this, they somewhat inoculate the Democrat, because things never turn out to be as bad as the initial charge.
Play it cool and let Fitzgerald do his thing. And keep the pressure on him, until he does.
