According to the indictment, after answering a series of security questions that allowed him to reset the password and gain access to the e-mail account, Kernell allegedly read the contents of the account and made screenshots of the e-mail directory, e-mail content and other personal information.

According to the indictment, Kernell posted screenshots of the e-mail and other personal information to a public Web site. Kernell also allegedly posted the new e-mail account password, thus providing access to the account by others.

If convicted, Kernell faces a maximum of five years in prison, a $250,000 fine and a three-year term of supervised release

Nothing will happen here. He’s a Democrat and the son of a Democrat big-wig in the State. Since the laws don’t apply to Democrats, he’ll get off easy. He may be assigned 1000 hours of community service and ordered to spend them helping ACORN computerize their voter registration program in order to reduce the amount of fraud getting discovered (i.e., to help ACORN get their fraud through without getting caught).

I hope he is convicted and sentence to five years in prison, fined $250,000.00, and given three years of supervised probation. What he did is reprehensible...and my instincts tell me this is NOT the first social engineering hack by this Kemell person.
