While the two presidential candidates, Senators John McCain and Barack Obama, prepare for their second debate on Oct. 7 at Belmont University in Nashville, Tom Brokaw gets to sift through questions submitted by you. In addition to queries from a group randomly selected by the Gallup organization, Brokaw will be fielding questions submitted online at mydebates.org, the site created by the Commission on Presidential Debates and Myspace. The focus of the town hall-style debate will be domestic and foreign policy, Brokaw's specialties.
Have a shot and get to sleep. We live to fight again!
Wow!
There is so much out there on Obama that the media is not reporting. McCain should have held his feet to the fire. But, I think the Republicans will allow a break in the dam of information in the next few weeks. Just for example, this financial debacle has Democrat finger prints all over it, especially Obama's. McCain began to touch on that. But, it has to be hit hard in the next couple of weeks.
This was a terrible debate. Not McCain, the format was boring, no questions they didn't cover two weeks ago in the last debate, nothing new..... Where was the questions on abortion? NRA? Gay Marriage? etc.
Obama was RUDE!!!! I hope soneone times this because i guess he likely took 60% or more of the speaking time. No, McCain didn't call him on it because McCain has not gone beyong the senatorial politness ingrained in him over 26 years in the senate. Obama is a street kid and it shows.
If McCain had hogged like this Brokow would have called him on it. My complaint is McCain has to get past being polite.
Watching the graphs on CNN this was not a undecided audience. Obama just had to open his mouth and the graphs hit the highest points. McCain opened his mouth and the lines dove.... This was a stacked audience, I'd bet on it... not that I think McCain did great, I just think he didn't do as bad as the graphs were showing... and Obama put me to sleep droning on to the sound of his voice. He NEVER says anything, he just likes to talk to hear himself talk and what ever comes out of his mouth he doesn't care if it is true.
his arrogance, and that stupid smirk will turn off people. I had to mute the tv when obama talked, would rather have a root canal without novicane than listen to that one, that CREEP. body language, facial expressions, not good either. i say he FAILED. :)
Close. Privacy is a major issue in my business.
He really blew it badly there. While he was going on about mortgages repeatedly, Obama went back to the overall economy. Meanwhile, he turned off people who who are being asked to cough up public funds to finance someone else's house--even if they don't even own a house themselves!
Why do you think he stood around taking pics so long????
in re: How many want to bet Michelle began berating Obama the moment he stepped off the stage?
McCain did not “make it up” as he went along like Obama did, of course McCain Won!!!!
There is nothing more to decide with the undecideds, as evidenced by Luntz.
All that is left is destruction of Obama with the truth, and Sarah is the only one on the ticket ready, willing and able to take Obama down.
LOL. No. Not sure who’s post was in the brackets. Sounds sophisticated though—LOL, but not my words. Appreciate your posting something to me though. :-D
That is an excellent proposal. If they make a profit the profit goes to the taxpayers.
The base would NEVER show up for Rudy in the kind of numbers we need to beat Obama. Get real.
Brokaw (sp) said that he picked the questions out of those that were submitted.
I just wish McCain would slap Obama when he goes on with the “Bush did this to the economy” and “McCain’s another Bush”. I’m so tired of watching McCain let those remarks go unanswered all the time.
I’m throwing in the towel tonight. Maybe tomorrow will be a better day. (says the eternal optimist)
I think he did well on substance. Ok on delivery.
Sadly Barama didnt mess up real bad without a teleprompter. He lied real smooth
We'll find out Nov 4 if McCain can.
“But one on one he is great. And has so much more passion than either of these guys.”
True
“McCain is more conservative on some social issues, but Rudy is the stronger leader and better equipped to handle the economic issues as well.”
It's because of Rudy's liberal position on social issues that he didn't get the nomination. The Republican primary consists of over 50% Christians who will not vote for a pro-abortion candidate.
“Excellent points”
thank you. :) I appreciate it.
if I could only communicate how much I wish you were right.... you’re not, but I’ll pretend you are because it comforts me.
