While the two presidential candidates, Senators John McCain and Barack Obama, prepare for their second debate on Oct. 7 at Belmont University in Nashville, Tom Brokaw gets to sift through questions submitted by you. In addition to queries from a group randomly selected by the Gallup organization, Brokaw will be fielding questions submitted online at mydebates.org, the site created by the Commission on Presidential Debates and Myspace. The focus of the town hall-style debate will be domestic and foreign policy, Brokaw's specialties.
Luntz’s groups are always tilted to the left. That’s why, when they were unanimously in favor of Palin, I thought it was amazing. He must have let his staff actually get real people for that one.
“WHO was and is Obambis Sugar Daddy?????
Billy AYERS???????”
Nope. That would be Mansour, a friend of a Saudi Prince.
I know. "Undecideds" my a$$. That first guy he talked to was and always has been an Obama supporter.
They are in love with this fake. Its hormones. If you think this fool can be an effective president then you deserve what happens. I can’t believe how Fu%^& stupid the American public has become. What the hell are we fighting for?
LOL! I can certainly understand why! I heard those phrases
many times!
I gave McCain and Palin the edge on the first 2 debates. (although the pollsters didn’t agree with me)
I would give a slight overall edge to Obama on this one. He had no substance and lied a lot, but McCain never called him on it.
McCain let a lot of opportunities slip away tonight.
Brokaw was the worst debate moderator of modern times. He handpicked questions that he basically wanted to ask. They used the townhall audience as props tonight.
Since McCain had more to do, I think he lost in that respect. I think it may be time to prepare ourselves for President Obama.
I hate her too. She is clearly the product of a good brainwashing.
The set looks like it’s for American Gladiator instead of a townhall setting. It made for a tense night imo. I bet a liberal designed the stage. That was no townhall setting. It was unnerving. Any psychologists around here? The set made me nervous here at home!
Pickens is a Republican — switched a couple of years ago before the 2006 election. It was announced at the Brownback dinner here in Oklahoma.
Thanks! McCain is, well, comfortable, except for the mortgage stuff. Obama makes me want to cry and scream.
McCaskill spinning now.....sheesh....tax cuts for corporations are bad......WHO THE HELL PROVIDES THE JOB you idiot!!!!????
nice but worthless
like Joy Behar’s tits
” Hes a malignant narcissist.”
Obama took that last question and chose to talk about himself.
He indirectly accused us of being cowardly if we didn’t dare to vote for him.
McCain actually answered the question and chose to spend the time talking about the uncertainty the world is experiencing right now.
Once again - this will be divided among those who appreciate a stylish smooth talker as opposed to someone who has lived a life of service and who has actual substance.
Can’t beat a smooth talking, good looking, young lawyer. Americans fall for that, buy Cheverolets, send paychecks to boob tube preacherss and gadget salesmen. And then, in November, they vote. Tony Robbins/Joel Osteen/Gavin Newsom won the debate tonight.
Interesting observation. I wonder if at a gut level, people relate to McCain like say an uncle; they're comfortable with him. Obama comes across as a snob. Who would you rather sit down with at a barbecue?
I will say this... doesn't anyone else find it suspicious to see a young 20 something dressed like Barbara Bush???
Well when you got a weak candidate like John McCain there is a very good possibility that Barack Obama might win this. Sarah Palin as good as she is can not save John McCain from himself! He was way to meek and he never went after Obubba at all on anything. He did disagree with Barack.
Or...they know there is surprise coming against Obama that is perfectly timed and evidence based - and it's important for them to appear unbiased, while in reality they know there is major evidence based dirt on Obama which will be exposed post the 3rd debate.
And the next debate...McCain will slice and dice and he will bring up Ayers, et al. :-)
