While the two presidential candidates, Senators John McCain and Barack Obama, prepare for their second debate on Oct. 7 at Belmont University in Nashville, Tom Brokaw gets to sift through questions submitted by you. In addition to queries from a group randomly selected by the Gallup organization, Brokaw will be fielding questions submitted online at mydebates.org, the site created by the Commission on Presidential Debates and Myspace. The focus of the town hall-style debate will be domestic and foreign policy, Brokaw's specialties.
We’re paying $3.70ish in the Chicago area down from about $4.20 about two weeks ago.
Sure he did... he's going to cut everyone's taxes, give everyone free stuff and make the world all love us!!! Simple, brilliant plan!
The Luntz group ALWAYS favors the Democratic candidate. The fact that they were split evenly, maybe just a little more for Zero, this time tells you McCain probably did pretty well.
Like a group of “undecideds” on national TV are going to openly say that the black guy lost.
The ARPANET (Advanced Research Projects Agency Network) developed by ARPA of the United States Department of Defense, was the world’s first operational packet switching network, and the predecessor of the global Internet.
Obama is the opposite of Steve Martin's character, The Jerk. The Jerk was born "a poor black child". Barry was born a middle-class white child.
The MEDIA CANNOT be TRUSTED. Watch CSPAN. Vote on the DBM polls. Then turn it OFF.
None!
Odearlord ... BOONE PICKENS!
Now, George McGovern ad ... to stop the unions
from ‘persuading’ their members’ voting choices.
Their? not Our?, Gondring?? Bit of a give-away, hm?
so.....
Man, that debate was weak tea. Where is either candidate going to cut the budget? Where was the laser-like blame on Freddie and Fannie? Where was MCCain’s defense that tax cuts stimulate growth and investment?
My wife was livid to hear McCain say he will let people renegotiate the price of their homes. Damn! Let us revalue ours, that we got a loan on fair and square with good credit! Knock a few grand off if the market downturn has depreciated it. Who the hell is going to pay to let these chumps who can’t live within their budgets off the hook? Why you and me.
Socialist 1 vs socialist 2.
I am appalled. Good grief, that was depressing.
LOL
We gonna eat good, you bet!
yeah RIIIIGGGGHT.... there is such a thing as an “undecided voter” ....and santa clause and a tooth fairy
And let's look at the others, too.
Cheers!
Michelle was signing autographs for undecided audience./sarc
Both Michelle and Obama were taking photos with those undecideds./sarc
I’d love to see the ratings and find out how many tuned out halfway through the debate.
I don’t get it! They have been telling us nothing matters in this election except the economy. Then Luntz’s group said McCain did better on the economy. But Obama won the debate because of his stand on (Socialized) Health Care?
What a crock!
“The debate was blah, we learned nothing new.”
Sure, if you’re a FReeper. Most people aren’t as well informed.
They have already been saying that.
And they are going to say that no matter what................
So what's new?
Been the same for the last 8 years...at least.
