While the two presidential candidates, Senators John McCain and Barack Obama, prepare for their second debate on Oct. 7 at Belmont University in Nashville, Tom Brokaw gets to sift through questions submitted by you. In addition to queries from a group randomly selected by the Gallup organization, Brokaw will be fielding questions submitted online at mydebates.org, the site created by the Commission on Presidential Debates and Myspace. The focus of the town hall-style debate will be domestic and foreign policy, Brokaw's specialties.
I just love how when McCain realized he was in the way he RAN out of the way! LOL So much for being old and slow! ;)
I agree. But I blame the format and Brokaw's direction. He made sure the mood was somber. Both candidate's spent the first hour acting like they were at a wake.
The worst part was Browkaw and the boring questions. No one knows any more than they did before.
Lumptz’s folks are going for Obama.
We just filled up at $3.27 a gallon.
Luntz is irrelevant. These are undecideds. Yeah, right.
Well, here’s something I never expected, but with that last speech and a few other superpatriotic moments of his, I think I’m getting a crush on John McCain! At the very least, I feel a billowing sense of pride in him, and if I didn’t already have my McCain/Palin gear, I’d be happy to put a McCain sign on my lawn and sticker on my car. He won me over on his own merits tonight (though I was always going to vote for him, just grudgingly, and then enthusiastically for SARAH!)
Dreadful debate? I wonder who picked the questions, boring and the same thing we hear everyday! Brokejaw probaly picked them because he didnt want to see his boy picked on! Just a waste of time!
Wow, were these people watching the same debate we were?
Exactly !
Well put !
Even Drudge thinks that this debate was boring...
Someone commenting McCain kept making snide comments about Obama? I thought the first shot fired was Obama and he was unrelenting.
With the Bosniacs.
The Luntz groups are always a farce. We’re really supposed to believe these idiots were all undecided?
People’s Republic of Arlington.
were we watching the same debate? that idiot said MC didn’t answer the questions. maybe he doesn’t know who’s who - they look soooo much alike.
Yes, alas, once the collective (and increasing collectivist) American people make up their mind, they are like sheep to the slaughter. Nothing fazes them in the surety of the “rightness” of their position.
I truly believe that CNN’s polls are rigged! The conservative
view NEVER comes close!
